Gravity Pope, the place to get shoes…

While searching for a picture of my wonderful Luna’s, I stumbled across a Canadian shoe retailer out of Alberta. Gravity Pope is amazing! Their Diesel collection alone makes me drool. I have to admit Miss Sixty makes some great looking shoes. I had no idea, I hate their clothes but love their shoes, let’s check some out.

Natasha - I would feel like seeing the Wizard in these shoes

Sunset - beautiful short boot with a low heel. Low heels rock!

River

Buffalo - flat boot goodness

Gravity Pope has reasonable shipping prices within Canada. I think I can see myself ordering from them in the near future. Other brands they carry include Adidas, Fly London, Camper, Keen, Puma, Fluevog, Gravis, Kenneth Cole, Kenzo, Tsubo, Vans, Marc Jacobs, Pucci, CYDWOQ and more.

I do NOT recommend anyone shopping at this store. I recently purchased a pair of UGGs and after wearing them for an hour or so, I developed a bruise on my heel which I attributed to a defect in the boot. Surprisingly enough, the store refused to exchange them! Their Cobbler claims the boots are fine and will only exchance them for another pair if I pay a 20% restocking fee. They said UGG was very strict on return policies and offered me an insole instead. I am a retailer myself who happens to carry baby UGG boots & I have never had issues returning defective merchandise to any vendor. This is obviously a Gravity Pope tactic to avoid the hassels of an exchange. So please, BEWARE shoppers!!!

Ummmm…I have no idea what this woman is talking about! I have been shopping at Gravity Pope since its opening and I have had nothing but amazing service.
You purchased a pair of UGG boots and they bruised your heel…honey, I bought a pair Ernest Sewn jeans and they pinch my waist…do I a) suck it up, continue to wear the jeans in hopes that they break in or do I b) request a new pair of jeans? If you are a retailer than I’m sure you must know that some people are, how shall I put it, a tad too demanding…I blame Starbucks. How do you expect a store to survive if they are to give new shoes to every person who has a problem with their purchase.
You mentioned that they did try to help you, so why “shoppers beware”? I don’t work retail but I’m sure it would cause them less hassle to just give you new UGGS than have to deal with all of the other stuff.

    LOL
about blisters…i get them from converse (chucks) if i don’t wear the right socks…you should try changing up your socks.

well, i’ve never personally been to a gravitypope store, but their website is sooooo gorgeous. i think i would just die if i walked in. i’m very into shoes now and i look for different shoes. i wish they had a store here in toronto. they would do so well. it’s been hard to find good places to shop for shoes.

although, i scored some nice pumas from capezio (from $200 down to $89 a couple of years ago…they’re the hightops) and i got a pair of irregular choice shoes for $40! Getoutside had some great sales before, where i got 2 pairs of irregular choice shoes for $50 each. i like the styles and designs and colors of irregular choice shoes…but honestly, they’re not that great quality. i still buy them, but i don’t ever pay full price (they really drop in price, so if you like them, get them when they’re cheap). oh and fluevog is great too…sales are decent for shoes that used to be over $200.
