I got a great deal on some Diesel heels in the summer. I love those shoes. I also have shown you my next pair of Diesel heels, sigh.
Meet the new girl on the block “Sary”. They look like this except the colour is Olive and Nickle.

I had been trolling the staple shoe stores(Aldo, Browns, B2, StoneRidge) to see what kinda deals on Diesel they had going. My current pair was ready for retirement and a replacement was needed. I had passed on of sales prior, but I walked into Stoneridge (an Aldo company). The reason, an extra 50% off sale boots. There were 2 Diesel boots available at $50.00 a pair, Original price $209.99. At first I thought I was crazy for considering them, but at 50 bucks you can’t go wrong. And now they have grown on me. Other people have commented on them, so others think they aren’t that ugly also.

Boots by Chanel

I noticed these boots browsing the Chanel Spring 06 couture show pictures . I have no idea why I am drawn to these. They are just so “smart” looking. Classic and clean. I like strange shoes. Thank god I’ll never be able to afford them, then I don’t have to worry about what I would wear with them. Take a look at the pictures from the Chanel couture show, there are some beautiful pieces.

The Dior Couture fashion show would have been fantastic to see in person.

Edit: There is a great conversation about the Dior couture show on Final Fashion. I personally ignored whatever The Pirate had to say about the collection and just enjoyed the clothes. I guess I just can’t take anything that he says seriously. He does bring a smile to my face, especially when it involves commentary from The Manolo.

I usually stick to fashion posts. However, I had a laugh voting today. I had no idea how many different and varied candidates I had to choose from.
