Wednesday, February 15, 2006 0:35And it’s Zanta.
If you live in Toronto it possible you have seen Zanta before. I see him on the subway most times doing crazy shit in that Santa hat. Last time he was wearing these massive moon boots, shorts, no shirt, the Santa hat and a winter jacket. He decided to flex for everyone.

I’ve never seen Zanta do anything to harm anyone. Ya he’s kinda freaky, but crazies are what makes things interesting. You can’t have a city without crazies, how boring would that be.

I haven’t seen him but he seems harmless enough. Downtown is full of harmless crazies. I remember the ‘chicken man,’ I don’t know if everybody calls him that, from when I used to live downtown. He walks like a chicken and occasionaly makes different chicken sounds.

Couple of students at Sheridan College did a video project on him for their video production class.
I’m sure if they didn’t want notoriety, it wouldn’t have been put up on the Internet so I guess I’m spreading the word about it/them/him.

True say, If you actually talk to this man when you see him, You realise he ain’t crazy. I just toook the bus home with him and had a normal conversation and he told me his full story bout his daughter and wife and moms and everyting. The guy is just a joker who loves life dats all.

Honestly this man is a good person and just expresses it in a different way. He has problems like everyone else and if you knew them you wouldn;t question his actions. He has children that he can’t even see and for real I think that’s why he acts the way he does. I see him all tha time on the RUNNYMEDE bus, and kills the shit out of me with his yesyesyes and arrrrrrrrrgg noises. I big him up nuff!!!! He gives me jokes…what more can I ask from a person that I dont even know

I had the pleasure of stumbling onto Zanta at the Etobicoke Hospital coffee shop…the coffee shop was full and everyone was paralyzed hoping zanta wouldn’t catch their eye, he caught mine and proceeded to do his little growling thing that he does and then he hit the floor and started doing his pushups…he had on the infamous santa hat , shorts and no shirt with a jacket…his nuckles looked swollen and rough..he asked if i have ever seen him before and i said no…he told me to check him out on the internet..so i did. Is he crazy…probably, is he harmless…not sure, but he does have a hot little body…LOL

In my opinion, Zanta is a goof. He should be locked up: Jail, home for the insane, his mother’s basement - it doesn’t matter. Get him off the streets and out of our faces. If it is really an act (yeah, right), then Zanta turn it off and do something productive. Nuf said.

For all those Zanta haters out there, this dude is totally sane - quite intelligent actually. He is just a performer and tourist attraction. Much like NYC’s Naked Cowboy.

This David guy aka “Zanta” seems crazy the way people talk about him but he isn’t really. i was on the bus with him on friday and he was doing knuckle push-ups. that kinda freaked me out, but we started talking and hes not that scary. it would be so boring in toronto if we didnt have those kinda people.. sumtimes i feel bad for the guy.. ive read that he fell 7 m, so maybe thats why hes like this. hes harmless.. he has 4 kids!

i know where he lives, amazingly enough. he lives in Etobicoke. 39 Richview Rd. 1st floor.
i know this because i live there on the 15th floor apt:15**. it is the 3rd building on richview road.
