aritiza has nice clothes and stuff like larok and tna
but wut i hate about tna is that their clothes like their pants pill a lot and stuff….take lululemon perhaps….no pilling and they last like forever without shrinking or pilling and stuff
March 11th, 2007 15:39
I wasn’t impressed with aritzia at all …Personally I like lululemon much beter..but hey thats my opinion..Lululemon has much more helpful staff their than aritzia …Aritzia people just stand their and say hello.
March 11th, 2007 18:16
The staff in Lululemon are helpful I’ll give them that. Aritzia is another story.
May 20th, 2007 08:29
I guess aritzia is okay but I agree they just stand there and sit hello. And some people when they want to get stuff from the store and they aren’t very skinny like the staff at aritzia, no one will help them. The staff at aritzia are sooo skinny!
August 3rd, 2007 23:00
i love aritzia but its really expensive but some stuff is really nice and cheap my tna bag ive had for a year and ut looks brand new it was only 22 bucks fashionista 411 your so right about the staff…. in my opinion the staff at lululemon can be like that too but most of the time they’re welcomig and help you but i think its because they need to sell the clothes they sell they’re clothes 800 more than the material cost on a freaking pair of pants or a sweater.crazy huh?
August 5th, 2007 14:52
Personally, I adore all the Aritzia bags and sweaters/hoodies. They’re all so gorgeous! But I agree that they can be a bit pricey. The items are long lasting, though, so I guess it’s worth it.
August 10th, 2007 22:07
i don’t know where all of you complainers are going, but the aritzia i go to has very helpful staff. i couldn’t find this very nice talula sweater in my size and one of the staff members personally helped me find one and she even had to go look at the back. fortunately they had one in my size so i think the service is pretty good, plus i adore the oversized gym bags. they are super handy for school and i can stuff a lotta stuff into it. the only problem i have is that the leather-ish bag is pretty heavy and it can get heavier once you start packing things into it, but either than that i like aritzia clothing.
August 23rd, 2007 00:58
I LOVE Aritzia…especially TNA and Talula. TNA is soo worth it, and it’s not expensive at all. I have tons of the pants and sweaters and the bags and i find them very comfy and long-lasting. TNA is wayy better than Lululemon, and it’s more stylish and prettier.
August 31st, 2007 18:02
Actually, I found the staff at Aritzia really helpful! And also, why does it matter if all the staff you’ve seen are skinny? Being skinny doesn’t make you a bad person, like you made it sound.
September 27th, 2007 19:27
i have a question, hwo can oyu get rid of pillign on TNA pants?
xo_nims@msn.com
September 27th, 2007 20:02
TNA pants pill, not a good sign.
October 1st, 2007 20:28
so how was the boxing day sale?
was it cheap?
how much did u all save and wat were ur deals and steals?
October 1st, 2007 21:27
The initial sales are around 30% on the good stuff. It’s later in Jan and Feb you can get good deals cause they increase the discount.
I bought a jumper with a bubble hem that retailed for 120 for 60.
October 2nd, 2007 14:46
was how was the tna reduced to?
October 2nd, 2007 17:06
That you won’t see for 50% off I don’t think (correct me if i’m wrong tna fans, I don’t wear the stuff). I think they cap it around 30%
October 6th, 2007 21:43
question: does any one know where I can find the tna jacket…its like a spring or fall jacket? not sure which one but it has a high collar, plain ….I’ve only seeen it in black, also im not sure if it was from this season but if someone can tell me that would be great thanks!
October 9th, 2007 02:20
Hi>>> I was wondering if someone could tell me where I could find a mackage jacket for cheap ….i mean between 400-600 as oppose to 600-800. In particular the longer ones with some wool and and leather detail.???? Thx
October 10th, 2007 00:17
I’ve seen some Mackage coats in Winners in the past. The best bet is during Boxing Week. Aritiza and some others carry Mackage coats. I’ve never seen them really cheap though
October 13th, 2007 18:04
okayyyy i cant really complain much about the clothing because i own tons of it.. but i was reading the comments and one girl mentioned the fact that tna wasnt expensive at alll !! haha all i got to say about that is “WHO THE HELL IS FOOTIN THE BILL” if you dont think its expensive at all you’ve got another thing coming..
maybe not for the people who are more fortunate in the money department.. but i knoww that i work my ass off just to shop in that store andd the moneyy doesnt come easyy.. ive personally never had problems with the staff.. theyve helped me outt a bitt..
however i was in lululemon the other dayy; and i had to chase the chick around the storee just to get a size! i prefer tna muchh more than lululemon
October 14th, 2007 08:20
i totally agree w/ dat gurl above mii; the stuff aint cheap, but its totally awsome, cus i believe dat the quality is amaaazing.
it depends on wat u mean by tna isnt expensive at all, its either well ur kinda blind wen u c the price tag, or ur comparing wit other high fashion brands such as u no d&g, fendi and blahblah.
also, lululemon stuff is kinda ugly, more expensive and not everything fits.
=)
October 14th, 2007 08:22
btw does anyone have any updates about the boxing day sales this year at aritzia or lululemon?
October 15th, 2007 21:51
wunderin gurl
Try searching for Aritiza in the search box, you can review my posts of the boxing day sales from previous years.
the find more good stuff here section just after the post and before the comments also has historical information.
There sales don’t get good until mid Jan, IMO
October 16th, 2007 14:29
i bought a pair of grey tna before, the one that has the zipper pockets that are reallyy cute w. the tna sign on the right cheek. there a size xs, and in quite new condition. if anyone is interested, pleaz reply to this post becus i am selling them as they r to big for mii
=)
October 19th, 2007 12:02
i think that Aritzia’s website is the worst.
why cant you view any clothing or order online
why is that?
i cant get any of their clothing unless i go to a place that has Aritzia
and yes the people aren’t very helpful
November 1st, 2007 14:16
im really confused about this ad… december 24 falls on a monday this year (2007) ????? :S
November 1st, 2007 16:53
This post is from 2006, that’s why the dates are messed for you.
November 7th, 2007 21:25
where is this boxing week sale?
November 7th, 2007 21:41
This sale was from 2006
November 9th, 2007 17:40
i hope they have another good boxing day sale. =)
lolz does anyone buy stuff from ebay thats from aritizia?
November 9th, 2007 20:17
heyy i was just wondering geekgirl, when are the best times to shop at aritzia for sales? You were saying mid january? and others were saying feb, is that true? are the sales better than boxing day?
November 9th, 2007 20:44
Well, it depends on what you’ll settle on to buy. If you have you eye on a popular item, buy it as on boxing day or shortly afterwards. While the sales are great in mid feb, the selection is not.
November 16th, 2007 14:01
aritia tns is for white people only and what does it stand for anyways why cost so much on a pair of clothes that look tight on you
November 16th, 2007 14:03
tna store is for white people only like in richmondhill not in toronto we wear baby phat and shit like that
November 16th, 2007 14:47
Jennifer
You’re an idiot. I was born and raised in Richmond Hill and I’m not white, there are a lot of people from RH that aren’t white. Have you ever been there before?
I’m sorry but TNT is not trashy like Baby Phat and I don’t see everyone all over Toronto wearing it. If anything I see more TNT around that Kimora’s trash.
Love the race card being pulled out her all over the place, TNT is for white people only. How I laugh.
November 16th, 2007 17:23
Dear Rock Star and Jennifer,
As a black female that shops in ARITZIA and buys TNA, colour has nothing to do with it. You buy clothing or whatever because you like it and it looks good on you.
Don’t pull the race card for any reason because you wouldn’t want it pulled on you for any reason.
I don’t but “Baby Phat and shit like that” because of the whole perception that it down casts on me as a female. I don’t belong to a category because of my skin colour. I am a human being and I’m allowed to wear whatever I want.
Buy what you want because it makes you happy. Don’t hate on others because of where they shop and how they look.
People have been putting black people down over that for centuries. Get over yourself!
November 16th, 2007 17:39
One last thing. Wasn’t this posting supposed to be about shopping on Boxing Day at Aritzia. How the hell did it go so far left?
November 16th, 2007 21:14
Amen Jiggles Amen.
I have no idea how this post went off the rails like that. I can only blame internet trolls like Rock Star and Jennifer.
November 17th, 2007 15:42
fizzle my shizzle tna is for whilizzles!
fu gangsas
G
November 19th, 2007 02:35
..uhm…where i come from, LITERALLY everybody wears TNA, no matter if their black or white or asian like me haah..GOD. that is the stupidest thing i’ve ever heard. AND aritzia staff is not helpful
?!?! i’m gonna work at aritzia soon and i guess i’ll try really hard to be helpful… man i’m scared of working their now, cuz i’m skinny and not white jk. (sorry this is off topic..)
November 19th, 2007 03:15
(off topic also) OMG one of my friends has worked at aritzia for like months now and she got to buy 5 items for 50% off! Like rock & republic jeans for $180?? i think. And a $400 jacket for ..you can do the math. anyways…yea. lucky hey?
November 20th, 2007 21:11
yea but unlike other stores the people at
aritzia dont follow you and say everything
they let you shop in peace.
November 24th, 2007 20:34
you all are losers.
who spends their time on some cloth store site
and talks to other gaylord????
get a life!!
December 2nd, 2007 16:24
lets all get one thing straight
tna doesn’t not look good on fat people
like shit I am sick to death seeing fat chicks squeezing in their pants
it is abosolutely disgusting
December 2nd, 2007 20:37
aritziaa is the shit:)
December 3rd, 2007 19:05
Okay I just wanted to say that depending on what ur wearing to artizia depends on the type of service you get. If you’re dressed nicely they will definately serve you much better but if your dressed just casually they will look at u like ur dirt. They are obnoxious people who work at aritizia.. but the occassional nice employee will help you. I find that people there can be very rude.. at lululemon they are also rude they look at you as if ur going to steal!? I mean come on i just want to buy some pants!
December 4th, 2007 21:33
hey guys ive bought a few tna things from aritzia and it is pretty pricey i was gonna go out and by tna pants but im not sure if i should buy them anymore:S now they are gonna cost 100 is it really worth it or should i go with lululemon..i dontk now or should i jsut wait until after christman, on boxing day when everything goes on sale?
December 4th, 2007 23:49
ughhhh ..i really love aritzia’s style but i HATE most of the TNA stuff mostly because of the people that wear it. I dont mind the sweaters but the freaking matching suits with the piping make me want to kill myself. However I love talula and I think most of their stuff is very reasonably priced. Along with most other items there. Not happy with their juicy selection though..velour suits not my thing anymore since 2001. I find the staff there annoying actually..they hound you when you have an item in your hand to get in a fitting room..theyre always all over me and I hate it. Btw to the people saying white people only wear TNA/Aritzia I find the opposite ..anyone but white people work there and and there is a large asian majority that buy stuff there. Thanks for letting me say my peace and p.s word on the street Aritzia is one of the worst companies to work for in Canada
December 5th, 2007 00:06
oh i just realized this is an ontario website haha..in my opinion vancouver is a bit more multicultural
December 5th, 2007 02:08
Vancouver doesn’t come close to Toronto where this website is based out of.
December 6th, 2007 05:45
how is it different
December 6th, 2007 08:17
From my experience I think Toronto is more multicultural than Vancouver. There are far more different groups that reside in the city than what I’ve seen in Vancouver. There are a lot of people from Asia and South Asia there, granted, but I see more diversity of people from around the world in Toronto.
December 10th, 2007 22:02
In response to the comment made by “Lovely”, actually the TNA pants are flattering to all shapes and sizes, they actually make you look slimmer, if someone wants to wear pants regardless of their size they should be able to without having pussy discharge like you putting them down for it. It’s a shame TNA doesnt have something that could cover your face lol
So put your money where your mouth is and show your face and bod to back you up…
December 10th, 2007 22:04
Aritzia sucks, overpriced spandex for chicks that want to be hot. Face it girls, Sexy isnt made, it comes natural, you either have it or you dont!
December 11th, 2007 22:48
I believe that the amount of money that people are paying for most for the cloths is not worth it for the quality they are receiving. Aritzia needs to lower their prices or improve on their quality. But overall, it’s to pricey. Go somewhere else.
December 13th, 2007 00:03
im from calgary, and we only have like one or two aritzia stores, but still almsot everyone is wearing tna stuff, i wanted to get a pair of pants from there and i have no idea what they copst…. doas anyone know?
December 13th, 2007 18:08
Hiii,
I have had my TNA pants for about 4 months and mine haven’t pilled. Lol. You just have to watch out where you sit! Lululemon is also pricey for almost the same thing (1% difference in the material). You can be anyone of any colour or culture to wear TNA pants, they are not only for white people. I would still prefer TNA. The people who say that the pants pill to much, where have you sat?
December 13th, 2007 21:48
TNA pants-not the most flattering… not the best quality either.
Lulus; better material, lasts longer, a little more classy
pay the $10 more =)
December 20th, 2007 19:50
A girlfriend of mine works at aritzia and she told me that their actual “real” sale starts a day or 2 after boxing day and everything is crazy marked down, for example $20 tank tops for $5… but theres probably a really limited amount. She actually has to go to work from like 9pm to 5am dec 27 just to mark down stuff
December 20th, 2007 19:52
also using a razor and shaving ur clothes can actually get rid of pilling most of the time…
December 20th, 2007 21:01
how much will they reduce on boxing day for TNA jacket? like i want that long TNA jacket.
December 20th, 2007 21:05
are they sale now?? for TNA jacket?
December 22nd, 2007 15:26
Personally guys i think aritzia is wayy better than lululemon cuz aritzia is a better brand and i buy everything form there like all my clothes are from there and i really like it. lululemon is not bad but im saying i like aritzia better i mena i dont even shop at lululemon i just see the store and walk by it but aritzia actually capts my attention buhh thts my opinion!! so lates <3
December 22nd, 2007 19:20
Do you kno where TNA is?
December 22nd, 2007 19:45
I like TNA except it sais TNA on the pants
and even though we all know what it stands for-it also stands for T*ts n a$$
So having TNA written on the butt can be not wanted.
And I love the sweaters but I saved for a prefect purple one and it faded, the zipper got all weird and stuck out in weird places after being washed AND the zipper buckle fell off so now I cannot use the zipper.Crappy quality but I still like the clothes
December 23rd, 2007 14:26
im new with all this tan lululemon stuff…. and i dont know wat i should go for first?
lululemon
or TNA?
December 23rd, 2007 14:27
TNA****
December 23rd, 2007 14:48
I live in Vancouver and I see a lot of asian people wearing TNA. Hell, even I wear TNA and I’m asian. So whoever said that TNA is only for white people…you’re wrong.
Aritzia’s staff is alright. They usually ask you if you need help and if you say no, chances are they will come back and check on you again. Everytime I walk into Aritzia, someone usually greats me, whereas when I walk into Lululemon nothing happens. I was just at Lululemon yesterday. Walked a few times around the store and nope, no assistance.
December 23rd, 2007 16:03
Hey, i’m from richmond hill! and yeah..most of our population isnt white..its actually asian. And anyone can wear TNA, so dont judge people on what they wear OR should wear by their race.
December 24th, 2007 00:23
Does anyone know how much the short winter jackets usually are?
and how much they will be once they are on sale?
December 25th, 2007 00:25
i know this is all tna/lulu clothing. but since we’re talking about boxing day.. which clothing stores have the biggest sales ON the day?
December 25th, 2007 14:55
so does any one have info on boxing day sales at aritizia?
and KJ so wen should we b going to aritzia to get deals like that, since tehre are limited amounts.
December 25th, 2007 16:59
hey i was wondering for the boxing day sale
do you need the ticket above? to actaully get the sale
or percents off ?
thanks
December 25th, 2007 18:45
heyz, does anyoneonw know where aritzia, tna is in vancouver, like the street??????
December 25th, 2007 19:17
i believe u do not need that ticket, in fact, its not even a ticket this post was from last year.
does anyone know how well the discounts are on boxing day for aritzia?
December 25th, 2007 20:35
I really like some things in Aritzia. However, they are way overpriced, quite often not the best of quality, sized too make the average person feel fat/short & then there’s the fact that EVERYONE is going to have the EXACT same thing because it’s the “cool” thing to wear. Lululemon has better quality, better style, it’s more original, and they make “limited edition” prints so that at least there will be only so many people out there with the same top
December 25th, 2007 21:25
a request can this forum stop debating about which is better, aritzia or lululemon. i believe this site is to help us to find good deals in shopping experiences. in fact, many of the questions asked ARE NOT answered, but simply ignored and replaced by another comment supporting either lululemon or aritzia.
just read the thread, soooo may questions and comments have not been replied to !
December 25th, 2007 21:27
I AGREEEEE
o my like seriously i am currently still wundering like how is this sale gona b!!!!!!
and seriusly wat are the deals and steals adn wat r the best times to shop in order to get gud deals at aritzia????????
December 26th, 2007 00:22
OMG, I LOVE ARITZIA! Even though I only own one top from there from Aug which cost $32 & is still in the store, same price. :l What I like about Aritzia is that most of stuff aren’t on sale & doesn’t make me feel guilty when i brought a $40 top there and then one month later, it’s $20. :l just like AE. & i hop the hoodies is gonna be cheap
December 26th, 2007 14:34
how are the t shirts? i dont see many girls that wear aritzia stuff wearing t shirts, however i was just wondering if they are worth the money adn style
December 26th, 2007 16:12
ummm well the little miss sunshine…etc. shirts are crap for the price theyre selling at. material sucks. not worth the money, i personally think. but ive always been quite biased toward over priced shirts that are so thin you might as well not wear clothes if you have to wear 4 layers underneath.
December 26th, 2007 16:14
and i was reading the comments from a while ago, and i am an asian kid, and the school i go to also has lots of asians. many of us wear tna, and seriously, whats with the white kids can only wear tna? thats shit. anyone can wear w/e they want. free country here.
December 26th, 2007 19:52
I just purchased a pink aritzia hoodie today, size small… but its a bit too big… I’m selling it for $90 (I paid $102.60 in total… you’ll save $12 off the sale price) I don’t want to lower the price anymore cuz it was literally bought a few hrs ago…
email me at fashionsenses@gmail.com if you are interested or have any questions… pics are available. Thanks
I’m selling it because aritzia doesn’t do refunds/exchanges on items bought on boxing day… it’s final sale…
December 26th, 2007 19:53
PS to my above post… I’m willing to meet up in Toronto/GTA, preferebly at Yorkdale, Sherway or Square One
December 26th, 2007 20:56
i am selling xs black tna pants (the classic ones) w. black piping for $60, original $85. the quality is very good, and so is the condition.
please email at beckyluo_aznbabe@hotmail.com for more information
December 26th, 2007 21:25
yo
December 27th, 2007 00:39
I bought 3 pairs of jeans today….2 citizens and 1 habitual….they were all $150 each ….regular price ranging from $200-$250. I think that’s a decent deal….but I did see a hoodie that i bought in the summer on sale for $70 from $90….i only paid $75 for it….they must have jacked up the price and then only put in on sale for 5$ less…
December 28th, 2007 12:34
well actually i bought a talula t shirt
its navy blue
and the graphics are basically a silver metalic silver necklace and it says talula on the t shirt sleeve.
doesnt n e one like those t shirts?
December 29th, 2007 01:59
Aritzia has alot of good merchandise, and it isn’t hard to find! Alot of stuff also gets overlooked so usually you can find numerous of unique stuff in there!
Boxing day? Check out the jeans in that place, some Rocks are wayyyy down as well as the sevens! I’m an avid shopper and picked up both for unreal prices. Ya it may be more expensive than other stores in the mall, but it’s worth it if you want style AND quality.
Lastly, leave the “thin retailers” out of it, their minimum wage workers just like everyone else, do you bother the “big boned rich tree workers” about what kind of flour they’re using?? No? .. then let them be.
December 31st, 2007 01:31
Personally, I think that Aritzia and Lululemon are both great stores, probably because they are very similar. Their prices are basically the same, and the only real difference I see between them is that Lululemon focuses more on yoga clothing while Aritzia has more casual clothing, and also some of those yogaish pants that they have sold in the past. If you think the prices are too high, dont shop there because no one told you that you had to.
Im not too sure what some people are saying about Aritzia being a store for only white people or skinny people because every single one of my friends whether they are white, black, or brown, all wear clothing from Aritzia, as well as Lululemon because the colour of you skin doesnt decide where you can shop. For the comments about these stores only hiring skinny people ive seen many of their employees various body sizes, and Aritiza isnt the only store that hires skinny people. Look at every single retail store and you will see no differences.
January 4th, 2008 00:35
I do think that aritzia is targetting the more petite girls as they often carry more smaller sizes and not many of the larger sizes. Some of my friends call the store “anorexia”
But in the end, if you don’t like that store if it doesn’t suit your style or body then just don’t shop there.
I bought a nice new greyish tna hoodie there today for regular price of 69 dollars, which is a lot cheaper than my lululemon one that I bought for over a hundred dollars. They are completely different though. The lulu is thicker and warmer but the tna has nicer colors and a snugger fit. Anyways, I shop at different stores for different things.
I’m from Vancouver and we see all sorts of races wearing clothing from there which I think is great! As for the staff there you will have good and bad staff anywhere you go. I didn’t have superb service when I was there today but generally you can always just find what you need on your own and I’m not there to meet nice staff as much as to get what I need.
January 4th, 2008 20:40
I know some petite girls that like Aritzia just for that reason. I don’t think it’s fair to call the store anorexia, some people are just tiny in stature and don’t want to shop at a kids store. Then there is the other end, where tweens shop there and they are just kids and need the smaller sizes.
January 5th, 2008 20:15
the only thing i have from aritzia is a long brown tna parka. i love it. but i wouldn’t buy anything else from there. the only other thing i would buy is a short tna parka, or a talula one. but that is all. the tna gym bags are overrated, plastered with logo all over it, and i see too many people with them… doesn’t it hurt their shoulders to be carrying around an oversized bag all day? unless you use it for GYM, or for school, i don’t see a point in it. the clothes aren’t anything special. i’m aware pretty much every girl in toronto has a tna jacket too, but i understand why.. because they fit nice and slim and they’re very warm. i just wish they would release more ‘limited’ edition colours of the tna winter coats, so that we have more variety and don’t end up looking like clones.
January 5th, 2008 20:18
oh yeah, and the staff @ aritzia and lululemon are rude snobs.
i wore my tna jacket around yorkdale mall and the magnets seemed to set off various alarms around the mall, and ofcourse at lululemon they accused me of stealing.. all i did was walk in the store, look at bags, and walk out. F you lululemon
January 8th, 2008 20:28
o hey i just thought id say that tna dosent stand for t*ts and a*s…… it stands for talula national athletics
January 9th, 2008 20:12
Is the sale still going on? I hope so…
January 10th, 2008 08:30
It will still be going on, they want to move the fall winter merch
January 10th, 2008 17:31
i like TNA stuff and it DOESN’T stand 4 t*ts ans a$$. Dats just wat gay ppl say as a joke but it isn’t funny. It’s disgusting. Anyways, I have tna pants and they’re really nice and feel like they will last maybe a log time. Plus alot of the grade eight girls in my class wear tna stuf like tops, pants and jackets and they look preety good. Lululemon looks good too (though i don’t own any.) But lululemon is mostly athlethics stuff. And TNA comes in reasonable sizes (though some of the girls they use as the models do look pretty skinny if u ask me.)

hey. i wanted to see if anyone knows how much a tulula barret is at Aritzia? i want to buy one but there’s a 5 days processing whatever on my bank card so i just wanna see if i have enough money. thanks!
January 15th, 2008 23:45
hey ladies,
i’ve been reading the comments and thought maybe i should clear a few things up. As an employee of aritzia i would like to share with all of you that none of the girls that work at aritzia are anorexic, theres no way you could do that job being sick like that. we do not just stand around and say hello. we get in really big trouble for that and we would get fired…as for experiancing bad service, was it really busy that day? you need to consider factors into things before saying our service is horrible, because personally i believe we have the best service in retail in Calgary. You can not compare lululemon and aritzia, they are completley different companies and service to different clientelle. we also do not judge our customers by what you are wearing when you come and shop with us, we help everyone as much as we can.
To get hired at aritzia you need to go through intense interviews, they dont just hire anyone and everyone, you need to be a good fit into the store, its more than just a job, its more of a lifestyle, all of the girls get along really well and are all very similar, thats why its so hard to get a job there, because you need to fit the lifestyle. its not a horrible company to work for, we get treated very well compared to other retial stores in Canada.
The boxing day sale ACTUALLY starts dec 24. and the best sales are mid jan.
i hope this clears some things up, and if you girls have questions i welcome you to come in or call and ask an employee.
Night!

I dont know why anyone weres lululemon itz over priced, ugly and everyone who weres it the jackets are just a plain with a sign on the back and theres no point uv spending a 100$ on some lululemon pants with a nasty canmel toe!!!!!! Ewwwwww I like TNA itz way better but still a bit pricey<3
January 17th, 2008 17:19

i worked for lululemon, so i have an inside perspective…first off, the quality is lacking if existant at all. now that they manufature their products in china and jacked up the prices its not worth your hard earned money. the actual price to make these clothes is less than 5 dollars…going for at most 15-20 dollars wholesale. the fabric pills just as much, its all about how you wash it. the moisture wicking quality lasts for a very limited time period so don’t fall into that marketing scam. the staff are persistant and annoying, we are told to basically hound the customer until they either need your help or yell at you. at least aritzia has different clothing time to time, lululemon has the same styles different colour. what lululemon is really doing is using a different approach to marketing…corperations such as lululemon sell lifestyles as oppose to images because it sells more and keeps customers shopping there over a longer period of time. in short its image is artificial. the only positive quality of the company would be the free hemming. convinient, however they do this because they use the scraps of the freshly hemmed pants to make their headbands! yeah that thing you wear on your head has been dragging on the ground and tried on by numerous customers…so next time you shop there keep this little bit of information in mind!

they might wan to lower their prices cant they be cheap like the thift store
January 30th, 2008 13:23
personally i think that ariziaa’s tna bags r the best but … the
staff arent helpful at all.. i was with my friends buying sweaters, one of my
friends is a lil overweight, so she asked someone if she can use the fitting rooms
but they said she is going to have to wait because they r full
but wehen my other friend asked to use it they lead her to the last empty one.
that isnt nice = [
also , the material doesnt last longer, its just expensive so people take better care of it
January 31st, 2008 22:30
Actually Aritzia clothes does last for a long time, it’s the way you wash and dry the clothes. I personally love Aritzia, I always have the same girl that helps me. I think tna is alright to wear if you mix it up with other brands, just not ALL tna.
February 1st, 2008 18:48
JUS WANTED TO KNO WUT THE SIZES GO UPTO IN ARITZIA/TNA CLOTHING?
THX.
February 1st, 2008 22:33
the stuff at aritzi/tna/talula is real nice and all, but it kan be very pricey sumtimes but the quality is quite good, but if u wanted to buy athletic pants (tna/lilulemon like) id reccomend lululemon cuz ive had my lululemon pants for about as long as my friend has had her tna pants and her pants hav started to pill and mine still lokk pretty new.+at lululemon u kan get ur pants sized(height). and the sweaters at lululemon r much better for winter becuz they r much warmer than tna ones, however the jackets at tna r much better (and less pricier) and tna!!! and mite i add that u shuldnt critike the tweens shopping at aritzia cuz it duz luuk pretty guud on us….better than on sum 40 yr old lady..trust me ive seen a 40 year lady trying to fit into a paire on tna pants..not a pretty sight..:D
February 1st, 2008 22:37
+DONT WEAR LULULEMON PANTS OR TNA PANTS IF UR CAMEL TOE PRONE!!!!ULL BE BETTER PFF WEARIN JEANS..and yes tna pants give u less camel toes but pill faster i hav a paire of lululemon and tna and their both pretty good but for around the same price lululemon continues lookin new..
February 2nd, 2008 10:57
hey whats wrong with shopping at olld navy or walmart? they have some good stuff dont they? i mean come on, its not like clothes make you a better person. why does it make a difference if you have a little lululemon or tna insigna? there is people starving in africa and other places, but we still go out and buy a $400 jacket? that could fund a child for over a year and make sure he doesnt get sick or anything. why are we so label obsessed?
February 2nd, 2008 13:01
were not label obsessed its just that tna and lululemon last MUCH MUCH longer than walmart!!!!(and iz prettier in my opinion)
February 2nd, 2008 18:37
kate
some people are label obsessed and some people just prefer better quality clothing. Some people think fit and style are important parts of a garment.
And don’t start spewing off about helping starving children when you are advocating Walmart and Old Navy. The kings of 3rd world labour. Why do you think it’s so cheap?
Haven’t you heard about the Gap getting busted this fall for using child labour again. Old Navy is part of the Gap empire if you didn’t know.

February 3rd, 2008 10:25

February 3rd, 2008 12:21

&& im not rich at all. but i have every tna bag, all sizes, colours, even the tote bags, i have like everything. i love it!
February 3rd, 2008 20:18

its true, so many little girls and wearing tna now… its so weird!!! no use in spending all that money on sumthing ur gunna wearing for 2 months then grow out of it. i love their tna jackets but i dont like their tna pants, in my option, lululemon is better for yoga pants plus they with hem your pant for you when u grow!! anyways… love tna jackets and sweaters and tops and luv lululemon yoga pants :p <3

You make it sound like these 12 year olds are going out to work everyday and spending their hard earned money on “designer” brands.
there is nothing designer about tna, it’s mass market. do a search for designer on this site and find out what it’s really about.
These kids don’t care about the cost, the parents are paying.

ANYONE KNOW WEN THA SPRING / SUMMER CLOTHING COME IN ???CUZ WEN I GO TO AN ARITZIA THEY STYLL HAVE THERE WINTER SALE.
THX..
February 12th, 2008 20:52
The spring line should be out in about a week or two from now because they just did their fashion show last sunday
February 19th, 2008 10:45
the good thing about aritzia is that the clothes are not made in swaetshops so little children don’t have to get punished and beated:)so maybe aritzia is good for all those people that believe strongly about child labour.!!
February 23rd, 2008 20:45
Hey everyone…..I went to aritzia on Feb. 9 and they still had
a great assortement of sale items that were like half priced etc.
There were cute sweater dresses and cute winter clothes but they
had sales on the TNA parkas too. They also had sales on the TNA
pants. But that stuff never really goes on sale by more than 5 to 10
dollars, but I’m pretty certain that the jackets were a lot more discounted.
I love aritzia and they have great quality in there clothing, I have had my pair
of TNA leggings for one year in March and they still fit me perfectly. I wouldn’t say
that im am super skinny but i am very happy with my body and on wednesday a girl in my class comented on how thin my legs looked in them. I was very happy and they haven’t pilled or faded and I do wear them to dance. I think aritzia is a tiny bit overpriced but does anyone shop at abercrombie and fitch, now thats a real rip off right there. OK me and my friend are already saving up and planning a back to spring shopping spree at aritzia.
The eaton’s centre aritzia is better than the one on Queen West
Cya
February 27th, 2008 22:49
Eaton Center Aritzia is the best one, havent been to the Vaughan Mills one but the Yorkdale location’s okay too.
TNA = Talula National Athletics.
get it straight if you’re gonna rant on and on and on about a brand at least GET IT RIGHT. come on now. also. i just bought TNA pants last weekend and i find them pilling in random places already, i’m so dissapointed in them and I think they’re a sad, SAD waste of money. I would never in my LIFE buy these pants again, i’m doubting i’ll even ever give a lululemons a chance either, why waste 100 bucks on a pair of spandex pants that ruin so quicly. I’d rather spend it on a really sweet pair of jeans for the same price that would last a HELL lot longer. Anyone visit Jean Machine lately, you should go.
Jeans are MUCH better than this whole spandex shit (Go get some Silvers or Mavi’s or Guess denim, they’ll last you yeeeears, trust me)… but hey, by NO MEANS am i trashing the brand itself, the pants frigging SUCK but i think they’re hoodies are amazing, i love how they’re so soft and fleecy inside, well worth the money they sell for. and the new hoodies with the logo in rhinestones are only $65-$75! I think that’s amazing.
February 27th, 2008 22:52
btw, does anyone know if Aritzia takes responsibility for the quality of their clothing? i mean, with so many ppl complaining, has anyone actually talking to a manager or something about the quality or the clothes they sell?
i heard that Lululemon will exchange ur pants ont he spot if it starts to ruin or pill.
February 28th, 2008 17:12
I love Aritzia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The boxing day sale is still going on. I cant belive what i saw though. The clothes got sooooo cheap. And ya they do exchange because because mine pilled. I got a refund.
February 29th, 2008 02:55
I was just wondering… did you need a receipt when you went back to lululemon and complained about the pilling??
February 29th, 2008 08:56
I got bitten by the TNA bug and decided I wanted a TNA parka–the long one–to keep warm. A few days ago, the temperature in Toronto dropped down to around -19C and my other winter coats had thin hoods. I wanted that impressive huge fur trim and lined hood that’s so significant in a TNA winter parka.
I was getting tired of wearing hoodies and hats all winter as part of my regular wardrobe. I was admiring the TNA jackets that other people were wearing.
I saw at the Toronto Eaton Centre Aritzia that they still had the long TNA parkas as late as February 26, 2008 and so I got one. I got mine at $250 instead of the $275 regular price.
I was amazed at how warm the fur hood kept my face. Unfortunately, last night when I was coming home, in a short 10 minute walk I found my arms and shoulders were feeling cool to cold. I was alarmed! I was wearing a full length thermal shirt, a warm cashmere sweater, and a fleece vest underneath. I’d thought I was overdressed but my shoulders and arms were getting really really cold very quickly.
I was mad.
My Columbia bomber jackets kept my body (shoulders, arms, and core) consistently warm all around. The only thing I don’t like about them are their flimsy hoods that blow off with the wind and that my butt gets cold in icy -19C or lower weather.
I would have thought, by the salesperson’s report, that since these TNA long parkas are for snowboarding in Vancouver, that I would be toasty warm all over. Well, the hood part didn’t blow off in the minus minus cold weather in Toronto, but my arms and shoulders were cold really fast!
Even my Columbia kept my core temperature consistent and the coats are way cheaper than TNA.
If I was snowboarding in Vancouver, BC, I would definitely wear my Columbia jacket and a warm furry hat and to heck with my butt. So, on my 3rd day with this TNA parka, it failed in terms of keeping me reasonably warm during the winter months here in Toronto. I can’t imagine how cold it would be on the snowhills in BC. I would really have to dress in some way to protect my arms and shoulders if I wore this in cooler temperatures.
I was disappointed by that and I consider myself to be observant in the way I dress for this weather. I was planning on getting another colour in the TNA parka next year but I’ve changed my mind. I like dressy styles like anybody else, but the clothes have to work for me when I need them to. TNA didn’t do the job in reasonably cold weather in the GTA.
I did get a Talulua fall jacket earlier this month and I liked the toggle buttons and the denim blue colour. I look forward to wearing that in the spring. I did see the Aritzia ‘Spring’ collection and they have the same dull colours as the Fall and Winter selection–no bright colours. And I noticed that the Talula jacket looks better too.
For me, that’s enough Aritizia, Talula, and TNA to last me a lifetime.
Take care,
Cold in TNA Parka (arms and shoulders) despite how warm I dressed.
February 29th, 2008 09:03
Oh, I need to make a correction to the 2nd last paragraph I wrote above,
“And I noticed that the Talula jacket looks better too.”
No, mine looked better than the ‘Spring’ collectoin. I found the ‘Spring’ collection fabric looked beaten and worn and didn’t have a smart look. But, hey, that might be because it’s TNA and not Talula line. So, maybe I”m more of a Talula style person than a TNA. That aspect is interesting.
Anyway, that doesn’t matter anymore. I’m not getting anymore TNA winter wear and I’ll be hesitant in getting any more Aritizia stuff, but I’ll be honest and say that I will be snooping around the store come next Boxing Day Sale just to see what they’ve got. Being interested in style, I like to keep abreast on the latest trendy stuff.
Take it easy,
Cold in TNA Parka
February 29th, 2008 20:00
Snowboarding in a TNA jacket! I call bullshit. Those jackets are not waterproof or even water resistant probably. Any skier or snowboarder with half a brain is wearing jackets made for skiing or snowboarding pursuits, not some down jacket for urban teenages. I was on the mountain today and it was fucking wet, those jackets would be like 20 pounds and cold. I can’t believe the bull they are spewing. If anyone is wearing one of those jackets, you can bet they are a beginner.
February 29th, 2008 23:20
Oh that’s interesting. Thanks Geekigirl for that observation. I’ll be honest…I’ve never been to Vancouver let alone snowboarding. I’ve bladed across the GTA in rollerblades in the summer, but I avoid sports involving ice. As I was riding home today on the TTC, I thought about skating in this coat. I winced. I hate the cold and my feet get really cold in skates. If my arms and shoulders are cold too, I’m dead.
If the mountains are effing icy wet, then I’d probably skip snowboarding and skiing altogether. I’d rather be scuba diving in Cancun–which I’ve done and got my PADI certificate for. Ahh, the waters are cool but the ocean is so relaxing!
And yeah, the TNA parka is heavy without the moisture. I’d bet it would be horribly heavy and uncomfortable if wet. Bleh!
Yeah, the salesperson told me that TNA parka included this metal “triangle” so you could attach your skilift ticket onto it. They’ve thought of everything. I partly believed it b/c I’ve never snowboarded, but like I said above, I’d rather have my Columbia bomber jackets for that…and my butt would be warm b/c I’d have snowpants underneath.
Take care,
Cold in TNA Parka but definitely NOT snowboarding in this thing!
March 13th, 2008 23:16
does anyone know where tna is in victoria b.c ?
if you do e-mail me and let me knoow !

Thanks for your input ‘Cold in a TNA jacket’ ! Now i’ll really think twice about getting one or not.
Does anyone have any good/bad experiences in the spring TNA jacket? Not a good description, but the spring/fall jackets with the decorated fabric interior.
I’ve seen a lot of girls wear it during the winter too. Are they good for the chilly weather or are they just sporting them just for the sake of TNA?
March 15th, 2008 05:59
You’re welcome Jessa!
Update: TNA Parka = (so far a half month into wearing it)
+ good for -5C weather but
- bloody heavy and
- body heats up too quickly once I got into a warm air-conditioned building.
+ for cold blowing winds
+ flattering and stylish, but I chose a large size so I could wear my down vest underneath (they didn’t have a size medium when I got mine)
- for wearing in TTC - I had to keep the hood up to avoid other passengers from touching/shifting/pulling my huge fur hood
Yesterday I gave up the TNA for a short down bomber jacket and breathed a sigh of relief. But I will put on the heavy TNA tomorrow when the temperature drops again.
Take care,
Not so cold in TNA Parka in -5C weather or so but include all of the +/- reviews above
March 25th, 2008 14:27
how much do Aritzia hoodies cost?
March 25th, 2008 16:25
I believe they run between 60 and 70 bucks
March 25th, 2008 19:21

March 25th, 2008 19:27
lululemon i say is okay but tNa is better tna doesent make ur body really warm so u dnt get hot and lululemon make you really warm which makes u really hot which makes you want to take it off
March 25th, 2008 19:50
sad for me, boo hoo, i don’t know the price of some crappy hoodie from Aritiza. woe is me, whatever will i do.
March 27th, 2008 16:33
Well, just would like everyone to know that I finally caved and bought the Spring/Fall canvas jacket. I regretted it a bit after because of how much it cost and because it’s such a casual jacket, but I think it’s very good for an everyday wear. LOVE the pockets, the faux suede lining makes the hand ultra comfy
March 28th, 2008 10:14
I tried the fall peacoat last week when the weather report claimed a high of 4C. I went to Scarborough on an appointment and froze. The ice was still on the ground. The hood didn’t provide much warmth. So, no….the fall jacket was useless in keeping me warm…and yeah, the arms and shoulder were the coldest. I wished for my TNA winter parka for this weather.
I’m definitely not getting any more TNA. TNA = Totally Not Acceptable.
Cold in TNA Parka as well and especially the Talula Fall Peacoat–Totally Not Acceptable!
March 28th, 2008 18:37
This is the funniest thread ever! I’m willing to pay a high price for quality + uniqueness (but not cheap and unique), but for the most part I don’t think Aritizia offers particularly high-quality brands compared to other stores for half the price, and you come out looking like a clone to all of the other girls in the store. I like lululemon pants for their fit and comfort, but I only wear them for the purpose that they were originally designed for - exercising! I don’t get the slob look for going out. It’s like saying, I paid $200 to look like I don’t give a sheet! I’m so cool!
I don’t know how I feel about shopping in a store that caters to spoiled little girls half my age (and I’m in my mid-20s), but I admit that I have bought a Tallulah suit that is really good quality and fit. I was looking at pricier shops like RK and couldn’t find anything that fits my smaller frame that didn’t come from a cheap store like Costa Blanca, and was considering going way upscale to something like Theory, when my friend suggested checking Aritizia. The price was not bad at ~$300.
Keep up the good work, geekigirl! I love the sample sale posts, especially!
April 4th, 2008 10:24
What is the obsession with tna? Seriously what? The high cost of looking like everyone else in your town and/or city. I love aritzia and the brands they carry, excluding tna, because everyone has it on. I don’t understand why some of these females don’t just spend that extra buck and get something from the many other brands aritzia offers…Wilfred, covet, sass & bide etc.so many beautiful clothes offered at aritzia. For goodness sakes, its athletic wear? Who really wears athletic wear out, half the girls who wear TNA don’t even know wear the closest gym is. I swear if I see another person with those pants, topped up with rundown and badly maintained uggs with salt stains at the corners again, I am just going to flip out.
But then again that’s the difference between trend setters and trend followers.
April 5th, 2008 11:42
my tna pants ripped. i am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo mad what shoud i do
April 7th, 2008 22:25
‘Cold in TNA Parka’ ! :O really, the peacoat was that bad?! I’ve had my eye on that one but the price tag always put me off. I guess its more of a style coat really, not meant much for warmth.
Lol on a separate note I came across a store downtown that was selling knock-off TNA parka and canvas jackets. I didn’t have enough time to check out the full functions of either one, but from the looks and feel of them, they come real close to the genuine jacket.
April 7th, 2008 23:04
i always felt the tna parkas were a knockoff of the Triple 5 Soul ones.
April 8th, 2008 09:04
Cold in TNA Parka AND Talula Peacoat AND little hideaway wallet falling apart.
So far I’ve been put off THRICE with my purchases.
When the store clerk was trying to sell me the coat, she showed me the little wallet [in the TNA parka] and proudly told me that this was made of REAL leather…I checked and it wasn’t. She didn’t know what she was talking about and wanted so badly to sell me the coat. I pointed out the 100% polyurathane tag and she just shrugged. She didn’t care either way.
Anyway, the inner hideaway wallet is falling apart–the black plastic ‘leather’ veneer is stripping off in little sheets.
Last month, I decided to start using the included wallet. I’ve only used it for a month and it’s really falling apart. Every time I pulled the wallet out of my coat and shoved it back in, little bits of the plastic veneer kept falling off. It’s made of really cheap bad quality plastic polyurathane crap that would even cause the dollar stores to turn their noses up. I’m throwing the damned thing into the garbage can.
I think I will just continue to buy what I like and avoid these expensive stores.
STYLES FALLING APART ELSEWHERE (reply to ’sick and tired’)
I’ve seen kids carrying the TNA big gym bags and some of them look really worn out and ratty.
Since wintertime, I’ve seen girls with UGG salt stained boots with heels worn down the inner sides of their soles so that the legs collapse down into the thigh region . It looks pretty sad.
I’ve even seen Lululemon gym bags with torn and worn plastic.
The weather forecast predicts a high of 16C today. I may try my peacoat again if I dare.
April 8th, 2008 20:37
well im thinking of buying a tna spring coat for this spring…it wuldnt be any drastically cold winter temperatures but around 5…do u suggest i buy it or no?cuz ive had my parka for about a year n itz looking pretty guud. anyways kan sum1 tell me if i shuld get the spring coat, iif itz worth the 110$?
April 8th, 2008 21:39
Well..
..my spring jacket has been working fine for the milder weather we’ve been having, like for the 5 degree weather as you were saying. But when its chillier and windy I usually have another hoodie or sweater on underneath. In my personal opinion, there are many other nicer looking spring jackets out there than the TNA one. The spring jacket is a little bit too casual looking for my taste, so I just use it for running errands and school etc.
My friend bought her ’spring’ jacket in the fall and its started pilling at the sides and underneath the armpit. Not that anyone really looks there, but if it my jacket starts doing that I’ll be quite annoyed.
PS. ‘Cold in TNA Parka’ I soo agree with you there about the old and ratty bags and uggs. Its so def not a good look =/
April 10th, 2008 14:32
thx. well im going spring coat shopping tuday so ill keep ur “temperatures” in mind.teeheehee. anyways i wont be using it for any dressier outfitz than the ones u wear to skool, the mall, grocery shopping etc.
April 10th, 2008 20:33
well just an “update”. i came back frum the mall after spending 130$(with the taxes inculded) on my new spring jacket from aritzia/tna. however unfortunately i wasn’t carriying the jacket because the hadnt had my size in the color i wanted at the store that i went too:( so im having to wait 3-7 days for it:( and i kant wait to get it cuz wen i put it on n saw how it looked i fell completely in love with it.lol.anyways i kant wait to get my jacket, and wear it!
April 17th, 2008 21:25
So I hope that every one is aware that aritiza has 5 lines not JUST TNA! Wilfred, talola, talola babaton community and tna. They do sell more then the tna suplex suites and note. THEY ONLY PILL CAZ YOU TREAT THEM LIKE SHIT. Take care of your clothing and it will last a long time I have had mine for four years and they look great.
Steps to keeping your pants looking good.
1. When you wash them turn them in side out
2.dont put them in the dryer. Dryers Rouen clothing with spandex in it. The heat melts the thread and that’s why things with stretch lose their shape (especially jeans)
And if you are one to wash your pants like every single time you where them ask for the suplex bag when you buy them and they will give you the washing bag to put them in.
If you really need HELP with finding the right aritiza clothing don’t go go to a mall store the staff probably don’t have the time to really help you with your need go to a street store . Try blore st or queen.

And it’s wear, suit and talula. (I know I spelled talula as “tallulah” previously, oops!)
I don’t like the Bloor store. The staff are too busy checking out the customers’ labels (to see who they should help?) instead of helping everyone, as they should. It’s a BS excuse if they say they’re too busy to help out a customer — that’s their job.

lol, the spelling of ruin really got me. I normally don’t comment on spelling.

I’ve been shopping at Aritzia for years now, but that’s only when I get the chance. They are really nice if you’re nice to them back thats what I found out. I used to live in Toronto but then I moved to Florida becasue of my parents gettign remarried which was dumb. but their clothes are great and i usually buy a whole new wordrobe up there frmo them. if you know how to take care of the clothes and how to wash them theyll last awhile. honestly they need to make an online store or branch into the U.S. seriously. im in high school and all i see everywhere are people as old as 40 and as young as 8 running around in hollister. we need new stores

I know this may seem random and completely out of place, but would anyone happen to know of any stores in Toronto that sells double-sided tape for fabrics?
I’ve tried Michaels and craft stores but all they have in stock is double-sided tape for crafts and paper. Not the greatest thing for delicate fabric and skin.
On a second note, I love the Junkfood t-shirts. They’re so adorable and great for my varying moods

Try body tape from lingerie stores (I’m guessing this is your purpose?)

I have a confession to make, I recently bought the TNA spring jacket mostly because its the ‘popular’ thing to get now, and I regret it VERY much. It cost way too much and I think I look like a man in it. =/ I think its mostly due to the fabric and the design of the coat. The coat is UGLY without the hood on. I will most definitely be following my own instincts when it comes to my fashion purcahses from now on!
