I just checked out Trove's website. Do you shop there? If so, would you like to write a guest "hidden gem" post for Bargainista?

Email me. Thx.

I think it's either one extreme of the other. It amazes me that companies that have decent ad/marketing budgets and spend $ on fancy websites don't know how to nurture their customers online.

Thx again for the links.

A lot of shops don't put any effort into web presence. It's really too bad. Trove(www.trove.ca) does a great job connecting with customers. They send out monthly newsletters and mailing list members got special discounts at xmas time and boxing day.

I still shop there. It urks me that they launched a new website in the fall, have a sign up for newsletters, etc. but they don't send anything or even announce sales on their website.

Disclosure: I worked for Capezio several years ago starting when I was in University. I still bump into the owners occassionally.
