I love this! My first ever encounter with lavender as a child was with Yardley talcum powder! It's my benchmark for how a pleasing lavender scent should be. Yardley is still a favorite, although Crabtree & Evelyn and Marks & Spencer do make yummy alternatives. Crabtree soaps are the best, though. I keep a bar in its box underneath my pillows to perfume my bed.

I get my lavender essential oil via mail order from Melbourne, because I blend my own massage oil. French lavender essential oil is sadly too expensive.

My latest lavender related purchase is 50g of a dried lavender blossom and green tea blend from a tony patisserie called Bizu in Manila. Fantastic. Lavender actually helps me wind down at the end of a stressful day.
