I nerded out and bought a print by a local artist, Darryl Graham.

He’s drawn 360 Marvel characters. Everyone is there: Xavier, Magneto, The Sentinels, Cyclops, Gambit, Wolverine, etc. It’s really cool, I can’t wait for it to arrive in my mailbox.
Darryl is very good. I fell in love with the print immediately. Click this link to see the a larger version.
I emailed Darryl directly to order the print and I asked for permission to use the smaller version of the image for this post. He called me awesomely sweet and that made me Internet blush! I’m Internet crushing on him now.
Thanks Darryl!

Darryl Graham is quite a good artist. However, I have issues with him as he has copied blatantly a variety of other established artists’ styles. If you look at his work, and look at the artists KAWS, as well as Mike Giant, you will see the fact that he has copied them exactly.
He was also a student at Sheridan college, and copied Jeff Soto’s work so much, that Jeff had to contact Sheridan college and complain that he needed to stop biting his style.
It really devalues his talent, because it’s so obvious that he isn’t creating his own original work. Although he is quite talented, I just wish he wouldn’t borrow so much from other peoples work.
