  • Pierre Cardin praises Putin’s style - Pravda.Ru
    Fashion designer Pierre Cardin has become an honorary member of the Russian Academy of Arts at the ceremony which took place in Moscow Thursday. The legendary designer made a special visit to Moscow to attend the event. It became Cardin’s 32nd visit to Russia.
  • Harem pants: Better left on the runway
    Whatever happened to normal pants? Droopy, drop-crotch pants have been on the fashion radar since last year (thanks, Hedi, Balmain and Balenciaga). Variously called Thai fisherman's trousers, dhoti, sarouel or kurta pants depending on the culture and the silhouette, these baggy wonders, which I first thought were a fad (like ultra-skinny jeans and high-waisted flares), are, according to magazine fashion reports, a lasting look.
