Hello dear readers
I have a contest for you. You could win a Ysatis by Givenchy gift set courtesy of Givenchy Perfumes Canada.
Ysatis first launched in 1984. It combines the richness of the East with the spirit of the West. The fragrance is fascinating and mysterious. A symbol of power and fatal seduction. The perfect gift for a woman of irresistible charm, intrigue and soothing qualities. The Ysatis bottle is architectural and well sculpted. In 1984, it won the award for ʻfinest perfume bottleʼ. The Fragrance is an Oriental Floral.
- Top Note: Mandarin
- Heart Note: Rose and Jasmine
- Base Note: Vanilla and Amber
In Givenchyʼs 2008 Holiday Collection, the Ysatis set comes with a 50mL spray, 75mL silky body veil and a 75mL shower gel. Available exclusively at The Bay. Suggested retail price is $ 80.
How To Participate
1. Well, impress me with your shopping prowess. I want to see all the great Secret Santa items you can find for 10 bucks or under. I will choose the one I think is the best and that person will be crowned the winner.
2. Enter by leaving a comment with a link to the site or picture of your choice. You can directly post the picture in the comments, also. Please nothing offensive!
3. To be eligible for the prize I need a valid email address – this will be kept secure and private and will not be published.
4. Submissions must be received by Wednesday, December 10, 2008 11:59EST. If they come in after Wednesday they will not be in the running for the prize.
I’ll announce the winner on Friday, December 12, 2008 and that individual will receive the prize. The winner will be notified via email so I can get your mailing address.
The Rules
1. The contest is open to residents of Canada.
2. I reserve the right to change anything if I have to.
3. Please no explicit pictures or offensive stuff, I won’t pick it anyways.
4. There are no prize substitutions. If you cannot take delivery I will pick another winner.
5. Duplicate items will be treated as first post, first choice. Check the comments before posting to make sure.
6. I will accept up to 3 entries per person (1 item per entry please). You post 4, you are eliminated.
7. The judging is purely subjective and based on my whim. To win you must put yourself in my head and pick things I would post as an “I want” here on the blog.
I want to thank Adrienne for providing the prizes.
EDIT: I wasn’t clear. The item can be 10 dollars or less.

How many items am I allowed to choose per entry?
1 item per entry. But you can enter up to 3 times

- We’d be in heaven if only our weather changes the way that the t-shirt does.

- We may not be able to afford cocktail rings that have the size of a gum ball (a la Bottega Veneta / Roberto Cavalli), but we sure can afford to glam up our holiday parties with flashy ice cubes!

go green this x’mas by using these fashionable & portable resuseable shopping totes. i always have a couple of these in the car in case i decide to do some unexpected grocery shopping. (great for when they enforce the 15 cents/bag at your local grocers.) most of these come with a pouch and the tote easily folds up, so you can keep one in your bag/purse. being green doesn’t have to be ugly! http://www.eyespygifts.com/Eye_Spy/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=279&image=
this is probably overdone, but these tealight candle holders are so chic! gotta love ikea when they have great designs for cheap prices. (and having worked at ikea makes me love them even more!) the set comes with 5 candle holders (comes in black or pink) for $4.99 and you still have enough to throw in a 36 pk of scented tealight candles for $3.50…with change to spare! ($4.99 + 3.50) x 1.13 = $9.59

Ok, so everyone should have one of these kick ass blush brushes–they’re eco-friendly, soft, and super-cheap–how can you go wrong?

I’ve just realized that one of the rules is to post one item per entry. SIGH. I clearly got carried away with my post.
