I think I’m staying in again this Boxing Day. I’m sick so sleeping in this year instead of getting up at the crack of dawn is really needed. Here are my top boxing day visits if I was planning to go out in no particular order. I tend to go to the independent shops and avoid the malls. The clothing at these shops is so much better. There are some choices for the guys too.

i went to holts, TNT, robber and J&0. got a great Alexander Wang bag at Holts for 70% off. i thought the sale there was actually pretty decent compared to previous years, but no extra discount with the Holts Amex like every other year, which was weird. Extra 10% between 7 and 10 AM but there was no way i was getting out of bed that early. TNT was ridiculous, as always they brought out a bunch of summer stuff and last year’s shoes for the sale. that was literally most of it. Robber was good stuff and good deals, and J&0 was ok. new policy, “leave your bag outside the changeroom”. (??????) literally tons of people milling around and she asked me to leave my bag on a chair unattended while i was changing. my bag was pretty little and i don’t know what she thought i could possibly fit in it if i was a shoplifter. thank goodness i had a friend with me to hold my bag, otherwise i would have just left. everyone was commenting on how ridiculous this was….anyway i didn’t buy anything. they also brought out a bunch of old stuff. my friend commented on a scarf that we’ve been seeing there every sale since they opened. ha!
