I don’t normally do these Internet Popularity Contests but…

In Coats and Jackets, Contests, Fashion, Jeremy Laing, Shoes, Skirts, Tops

I loath the Internet Popularity Contest mostly because I can’t stand shilling for votes. Usually, I stay away from them or turn them down outright. However, I can’t say no to Nelia from Styleblog.ca and I found myself competing in a little feature she has called Style-Off. Styleblog.ca’s Style-Off takes an article of clothing and 3 bloggers who work this item into their personal style. Nelia photographs the results, posts them and you vote!. The battle I’m involved in uses the new Libertine for Aldo Rise wedge platforms. Nelia provided me with some of the photos.

Outfit Breakdown
1. Necklace by Aldo
2. Shirt by Zara
3. Skirt by Christopher Kane
4. Jacket by Jeremy Laing
5. Sunglasses by Alexander Wang
6. Tights by Wolford
7. Earrings by Jane Hollinger
The only swag item in this outfit is the Libertine for Aldo Rise shoes which donated for the contest. I purchased this stuff from Holts, The Bay, Gaspard, Wolford, Aldo and Zara.

The idea for the styling came from the Christopher Kane skirt. I thought the black and white in the skirt matched up with the shoes, then I went to town with the neon accents.  And yes, I wore this outfit to work, not that it’s really different from what I normally wear.

I love, love the shoes. Perfect platforms for the summer.

So please go and vote for me at Style-Off: Libertine for Aldo Rise on Style Blog. :)
