I had no idea there was a Prada Spring/Summer 2010 Ad Campaign video. I can’t help but watch this mesmerized. I think it’s the music.
Here’s a quick video reminder of the Prada Spring 2010 collection.

I have some trend forecasting posts for Spring 2010, but I realize that doesn’t help anyone looking for what is going on after the shows have happened. Here is a post to help those who are getting directed to the Fashion Trends Forecasting Spring Summer 2010 post. These are the trends that are hitting the streets for spring and summer 2010.

Wallpaper has posted some images of the venues for the Spring 2010 collections.
From top: Louis Vuitton, Prada, Stella McCartney, Dior, Viktor & Rolf, Jean Paul Gaultier, Chanel, John Galliano Check out this video featuring the making of the Chanel venue from Wallpaper.com. images: wallpaper.com ![]() Stella McCartney Perforated Thigh High Boot I’m in love with the all the tall boots coming out this Fall. Over the knee, boot leggings, thigh highs. Whatever you want to call them, I love them.
Marc Jacobs, Prada, Prada, YSL Of course, I talked about the to die for Gucci’s already. Wallpaper.com did there seasonal post about fashion show venues. I always like seeing the photos of the venues before the people, models, photographers and clothing arrive. ![]() Moncler The Moncler venue is stunning. The models walked on the deck of the pool. ![]() Galliano - My Favourite I love the graffiti in venue, it was quite the contrast to the John Galliano Sprign 2010 collection.

The Prada Fall 2009 – 2010 Lookbook is awesome. They are always a little twisted and wacky. I’m even digging the collection now. I initially wasn’t a fan.
I wasn’t a fan of the Fall 2009 – 2010 collection. It wasn’t for me with the waders and boxy cuts. For Resort, it’s a much softer Prada. Miuccia showed a collection influenced by the beach. It was a much simpler collection, relying more on colour combination and prints for the wow factor. The shoes look walkable, also in contrast to the disaster that was Spring Summer 2009. I loved the print work from the Spring 2009 collection, so it was nice to see prints making a comeback. See the whole collection at style.com. images: Prada Resort 2010 – Fashion News – WWD.com. |
