Palliative Care helps to provide critically ill children with optimal comfort and quality of life. Sadly, this may include preparing for a compassionate death.
Music Therapy for the palliative care of sick children uses a variety of ways to help meet emotional, social, physical and spiritual needs of children receiving palliative care. Music intervention may include singing, writing songs, playing instruments as well as listening to music and moving to music.
Please help spread the word. By working together we are able to assist more terminally ill children move from life to death with peace and dignity, comforted by their families, caregivers and a music therapist.

The view from here is nice
Taken from the 18th floor of the Hyatt. This was the best part of the Pure Divine Spa Party. I was too late to get reservations for a free spa service at Stilllwater. They had a waitlist but you had to hang out in the lobby waiting for someone to call your name in the event that there is a cancellation. The party was on the 18th floor, pure BS. Initially, they said they would call people on the waitlist about cancellations. I’m not desperate enough to stand around in the lobby like a fool, hoping there is a cancellation. If I want to experience Stillwater, I’ll just pay for it. I left due to lack of free alcohol and the party options of pictures and henna tattoos.
I did get a gift bag with products from Gillette including this new body soap and scrub they are selling. In addition to the gift bag, I received about 30 samples of the Pure Divine Gentle Exfoliating Body Wash that I managed to give all away at work yesterday.

Dragonette
I saw this band called Dragonette play at The Social a couple weekends ago. They were amazing. Check out the video for I get around. They are so incredible live and studio recordings don’t do them justice.
Toronto is such a small town at times. The 6 degrees of separation is very disturbing at times. Through friends of friends I met Jamie. In conversation with Jamie, I discovered that his girlfriend Jen is from Balmshell who I saw at the Crave Party. I covered that party at blogTO and an got here. I thought I would plug his new venture Be a Good Buzz, where you can submit and promote the things that make you feel people need to know about.
Here are some photos from the night after the jump

Girls Come First: Vice Magazine/Rimmel Party
I went to the Girls Come First: Vice Magazine/Rimmel Party on Friday. For the first 2 hours of the party it was only women. The bar was free and there was lots of good food going around so it was pretty nice. The gallery was completely barren, it was literally a white box, some artwork would have been wonderful to see. A lot of girls lined up for the make up and manicures that were available. Styles were all over the place and I can’t say any one look dominated the night. There were some things that caught my eye enough to photograph.

Cute ass dunks. I’m not a Nike fan, but I would buy these. I even guessed where she bought them from, Goodfoot. I’m so damn good.

I cut this poor girl’s head off a bit, but I was really concerned about the dress. Proenza Schouler from Target. It was $35 dollars and so beautiful.
