Lovely collection from Akira Isogawa. I’m totally obsessed with the Japanese this season, Undercover, Yojhi, It’s the obi belts; almost every designer that has used them has gotten me by the heartstrings.

Louis Vuitton was quite stellar this year. Marc ported the obi belts and the colour palette from his Marc Jacobs collection to LV and they look fantastic. After a season off the Holt Renfrew celebrates Canadian Fashion event was back on the LFW schedule. This is one of my favourite events of fashion week. It gives you the ability to see the clothing up close and meet the designers.

I have a few favourite collections from Paris so far: Balenciaga, Rick Owens and Undercover. Ann Demeulemeester is now a the top of this list because of the sheer volume of looks I liked. Everything she did was pretty much perfection.

At first look, I wasn’t into the Balenciaga Spring collection. I’ve looked at the collection again and seen the details.
I’m now a fan. Nicolas Ghesquière has gone heavy on the Sci-Fi and I love him for it. It’s not quite like Spring 2007, my dream Balenciaga collection, but it’ll do.
