It’s finally happened, Lululemon is going public. I found a article from Yahoo News – Athletic apparel maker Lululemon to use IPO to fund store expansion. Lululemon will be registered in the US. They have plans to expand their menswear business in the near future and add more stores to the US and Canada. In 2005, owner Chip Wison sold 48 per cent of his stake in the company to a group of private-equity investors led by Advent International Corp.
Cuddle Pullover by Lululemon I’m not a crazy Lululemon junkie. I own none of their shorts, tank tops or pants. I do own this and another hoodie though and I really love them. The test of a great hoodie is in the hood and these are great. Lululemon hoodies are made to last using super thick cotton. They are preshrunk so you can toss then in the dryer. To be honest, it took me a year to put my other hoodie in the dryer. I’m obsessive with my clothes and wash anything I really, really care about in cold water and I hang it to dry. Oh and it’s black, not pink like the picture.
So what will happen with I want – I got in 2008. Frankly, I haven’t thought about it. I have two goals, update my friend links and write more. That’s about all for now. Last year my goal was to up my presence (whatever that means) and I think I accomplished that. Traffic was increasing steadily month by month. I still have to do some stat digging to see where the increase came from. I’ve never posted my stats before, but it’s not really a secret anyway. Click the image to get a bigger version. I thought I want – I got had a great boxing day; about 800 people visited the site that day looking for shopping bargains. I knew that the Lululemon warehouse sale would bring people here, but I had no idea how many. Thursday saw about 1100 visitors. My searches were all for lululemon, it has been insane over the last few days. I’ve finally broken the 1000 visitor mark, YAY!. Thanks to all the people who posted comments about their Lululemon experience.
I love La Senza Spirit. I don’t lounge around in activewear, I sweat and I run. I expect a lot of out of my gear. I recently bought some workout clothes and was very impressed with the fit and construction. Best of all, it’s way cheaper than Lululemon. I saw these sunglasses in the store recently. I love the shape and the frames. It should have been no surprise to me when I discovered that they were basically a knockoff of a pair by Tom Ford called Whitney The La Senza Spirit version are $16.50CAD, Tom Ford $300US. I tend to lose sunglasses a lot, so I will be looking at the cheap version. I was surprised at how cheap things are on sale at La Senza Spirit. I bought 2 pairs of capris at 20 bucks a piece, a pair of black pants (that fit amazing) for 30 bucks and 2 tank tops for $12.50 a piece. This is the a cool idea, so I’ve adopted it from Danielle, who adopted it from Style Bubble. I’m really interested in what other people’s wardrobe mechanics consists of so, if you have a little time to do some quick picture searching on Google, please do send me your cogs of style and I will post them up (they will look oh so cool next to each other!).
