I’m loving these dresses from Acne for fall 2010. Ara, the short, sexy leather number would be a great edition to my closet that is lacking shorter hems. It sounds divine after reading the description.
Strapless, short and futuristic leather A-line bustier dress with a zipped detailed skirt. Inner top body is built up like a corset with bonings. Inner grosgrain ribbon with hook and eye closure holds the waist. Skirt part has two front zippers with inserts, which allows for skirt width adjustments. Hemline finishes just below the hips. Fit is short and narrow
The drapey Pluto and Omega are my typical hemline and great for the office.
Style names: Alpha, Atlas, Atlantis
I love the silk styles Alpha and Atlantis are just great LBDs. I’ve recently discovered that the key to wearing silk dresses is about wearing some shapewear or a great slip underneath. Atlas is another fun short dress that uses a stretch crepe fabric for the top, the bust and skirt are in a fused stiff fabric.

I’ve been preoccupied with these Desert High 3 boot by Acne even since I saw Tommy Ton of JakandJil wearing them. I mentioned that I was all over this lepoard print right now. Tommy just looked at me, smiled and said, “It’s because of Dries“.

There is no reason why I should be paying attention to the Jean Low Cut Western Boots by Acne. None at all.

I posted about the new Lanvin ♥ Acne 2010 collection for women previously on I want – I got. I really love the grey ruched shoulder dress the most out of the collection.
Ruched shoulder dress with a beautiful, feminine fit. The ruching sits over the left shoulder, with pleats running across the bust. The right shoulder is sleeveless. A zipper runs through the back of the dress.(source)

The Lanvin Acne denim collaboration that started with the Spring 2009 collection continues. It must be a yearly endeavor because I was wondering when the next update would be. It looks like they cut out the Men’s version of the line as I don’t see it on the shop.acnestudios.com website.

Pose lace-up ankle boots by Acne
They say these are boots. I’m not sure how to describe them but they seem like a summer shoe to me. I love all the laces and the fact that you have to be committed to lacing them up to own them, similar to Doc Martens. It doesn’t look like there is easy zipper access on these.
