Sex in the City madness has gripped the city. I was suppose to attend a Sex and the City themed party but I just didn’t have the energy after the Chick Advisor Shop Crawl. To be completely honest, I don’t like Sex in the City. I watched a few seasons of the show but I got bored. It was never something I could relate to - four aging white women and their relationships in New York City.

But I’m sure the movie will do well. Patrick Field has paired with Payless to cash in on the hype. They certainly aren’t my cup of tea and the style names are just plain obnoxious - heiress, empress, princess *shudder* and socialite. I’m not a big fan of Payless shoes, I never find styles that I like. Although I could say that for most shoe stores I walk into. Another thing is that I really don’t like the way they fit. I have two pairs of payless shoes and they are cute but not comfortable. However, these silver sandals don’t offend me from Patrica’s collection.

These rings are pretty cool. The silver one (Au) will set you back about 200 bucks USD. The platinum(Pt) one on the other hand is a cool 6500. yikes

Lanvin - Large metallic bag

I’m obsessed with this beautiful purple bag by Lanvin. They have it at Holt’s and I go in to drool over it occasionally. It’s more incredible in person.

Purple large metallic bag with silver trims on the corners and the main opening. Chain link handles sit on either side. A popper fastening sits on the main opening. A zip pocket sits on the lining.

I’m having a love hate relationship with the Chanel Haute Couture - Spring Summer 2008 collection. On one hand, some of the outfits are to die for, very beautiful. However, I hate the presentation. The large tacky Chanel jacket in the background. Why the hell aren’t the models wearing heels. Check out style.it and look at how awful the collection photos are. The models don’t know how to pose in flats and it’s just plain awkward and unflattering. Devon Aoki looks like hell, as does the dress, IMO. The shoes are awful.

I do love the wrap skirts and the jackets.

I noticed this cool little bracelet the other day, but it took an email from Danielle from Final Fashion for me to realize that this is a post worthy bracelet. I can totally understand why Danielle fell in love with it, I even thought of her when I saw it initially.
