Alexander McQueen shoes I’ve decided to change up my “i got…” posts this year and include some of the not necessarily new gems in my closet. To kick it off, a pair of Alexander McQueen heels I got during a Now or Never Sale at Holt Renfrew. I think they are from the Fall Winter 2007 – 2008 collection.
Nicholas Kirkwood shoes These are not for the faint of fashion. Kirkwood is genius. An alumnus of prestigious design schools Central Saint Martin’s and Cordwainers, 27-year-old British designer Nicholas Kirkwood launched his eponymous collection in Spring 2005. The collection of architecturally inspired pieces with a blend of genres subverting the relationship between tradition and modernity instantly won the attention of Grace Jones, Daphne Guinness, the late Isabella Blow and Cecilia Dean of Visionaire as well as rave reviews from industry insiders…Kirkwood’s shoe making talent has meant he is much sought after by the design community. Recently French fashion house Chloé employed him to consult on their AW 07 collection. Alexander McQueen and Puma shoes The collaboration seems to be doing very well. It’s expanded to include many style for men and for women. I’m a fan of these 3 styles. Yup, this shoe is pretty tame in my books. I wear my Vegas shoes a lot and they are way more obnoxious. The dude in jacflash noticed them; he was an Adidas head too. Sergio Rossi Shoes I love these platform sandals from Sergio Rossi. The colour combos are spot on and they are unusual, very angular. I would wear these with a mini dress or skirt, they are perfect for showing off leg! Sphere Heel Sandals, I swoon at the ridiculousness of this shoe.
