i want: Alexander McQueen leggings

Eiffel Tower Leggings - Spring 2009

I was a fan of Alexander McQueen’s print crazy Spring 2009 collection. These leggings are so amazing and so expensive. I hoping they are like hand printed or something like that. They are made from lycra and very beautiful in person.

To be totally badass I would love to pair the Eiffel Tower leggings with the Alexander McQueen Eiffel Tower top and a pair of Metallic shoe boots.

Holt Renfrew is carrying the Crystal print and the wood grain print leggings at the Bloor Street store.

  1. I believe the reason for the actual leggings being really expensive is the fact that the print on the leggings is actually placed as per the pattern, and this is why there is exact symmetry on the leggings. This in all cases ends up with tons of waisted fabric, which means the cost of the garment goes up. If he really didn’t care what the leggings looked like and made each on differently then the leggings would probably be cheaper… although in my personal opinion, without the symmetry the leggings would just be boring.

  2. Thanks for that explanation WTF. I was going to do some searching for the reason as to why they were so expensive. I figured the pattern was manually applied to something like that.

  3. If you don’t mind me asking, how much are they anyway? I’m too lazy to go downtown just to see the price tag of these, and possibly avoid feeling shit for not being able to buy them.

  4. The printed leggings are about $800 bucks. The Eiffel are less, but not sure how much less. If you click the links you can see Net-a-porter’s prices

  5. LIVING for the Eiffel top,,,,would you know if it’s available anywhere in Canada?

    1. I don’t think so. Net-a-Porter has sold out of their stock and that’s the only site any of my google searches is coming up with. I’ll keep you posted

  6. the canadian/us net-a-porter had stock a few weeks ago when i first looked, but they’re out now. i ordered from the UK site last week – all they had was large, which was ok for me. i got one of the last ones, since now they are also out of stock. received my shirt on tuesday, wearing it today. pretty cool looking. 🙂
