   Hi Adam

   I would suggest tracking down the number of the menswear department at their corporate head office and calling them personally. They buy for summer in August – September and February – March for fall approximately. Ask them for an appointment to show your collection. They get calls from designers all the time. Be persistent if you think your collection can make it in holts. Make sure the quality of your garments are high, you aren’t kate moss and topshop quality from your won’t cut it.

   I am currently taking a certification course for retail buying and I have a business degree as well, my question is what do places such as Holt Renfrew look for when hiring a potential candidate?
