I just got my beloved Chloé booties from the Spring Summer 2008 collection fixed at Kaner. They have been out of my shoe rotation for at least a year because I’m that lazy. It inspired me to share my shoes on the blog. I really loved Chloé with Paulo Melim Andersson at the helm. I wish I was able to get a few more pieces by him before he was kicked out of the house. These were a Holt Renfrew Now or Never buy.

RIP Phi
One of my favourite labels Phi is shutting down. Their amazing Spring 2010 collection never went into production. When I’m in Holt Renfrew I look at the final few pieces of Phi and mourn a little. It seemed they were just hitting their stride. For the last few seasons, Phi had been pumping out some drool worthy collections.
Seeing this Phi Fall 2009 ad campaign by Steven Meisel prompted me to write this post. Not only did Phi have great clothing, I loved the ad campaigns. Phi Fall 2009 featured my fav, Sasha.
Phi was one of the shows I saw in NYC at fashion week. It was my first viewing of the super popular models of Spring 2009 like Sasha P, Freja, Kinga, Irina, Hye, Suvi and Natasha. I was in awe of these people. It was then I learned that my instinct not to compare myself to these people was correct. They are freaks of nature (the a good way) and most people will never look like them.
How can we forgot the beautiful Art Deco inspired ad campaign for Spring 2009.
I also like the Fall 2008 campaign.
i got: A Fun and Firty Summer Dress
I actually bought this dress last year. I noticed it in the window display of Zara. I was immediately drawn to the print. The Oracle though it was a good find and so I rushed in and got a sale associate to find me the dress. I wanted it at any costs, even if she had to get in there and strip it off the mannequin. It’s only things I have from Zara that was full price. I love Zara during sale time.
When I got this picture back from Sangria Saturday fun this past weekend, I realized the power of the print on this dress. I haven’t had any pictures that displayed the print like this, so I never really noticed. I felt compelled to share it with you. It was very windy when this photo was taken, there is no New Look skirt action happening here. This dress can be a challenge in the wind, lol.
i got: Ipanema Gisele Bundchen sandal
Ipanema Gisele Bundchen sandal
I always thought of the advertising campaigns and not the product with Gisele’s shoe company here. However, I saw some and thought there were cute. Surprisingly comfortable sandal and I use them a lot when walking to and from the office. I wore them to see Dark Knight in IMAX Saturday morning at 8:30am. They were perfect for standing in line at 7:30am with the rest of the geeks.
The only thing I don’t like is the crystals embedded into the strap. I got these at Stoneridge in the Eaton Center. I think they were $25.

They are selling these at Browns right now. They are really nice.

i want: Members Only Liquid Leggings
I usually would never wear leggings without boots, however I would change that rule for these. They look like pants almost, really, really tight pants. I love them.
You can buy them online at Kitson.

Jeremy Laing in W
Jeremy Laing is in the July 2008 issue of W mag. Here is a teaser scan, but go out and get a copy. I got mine. He is part of the Summer Camp editorial shot by Bruce Weber. The link has a slideshow of some of the images. There is a lot of naked Lara Stone, Daria and Kate Moss all over the place, be warned.
School’s out, and the livin’ is easy. The latest flock of new designers hits the road with some top models and friends for a little fun—dressed or not—under the Miami sun.

i want: Sergio Rossi Spring 2008 Shoes
I love these platform sandals from Sergio Rossi. The colour combos are spot on and they are unusual, very angular. I would wear these with a mini dress or skirt, they are perfect for showing off leg!
Sphere Heel Sandals, I swoon at the ridiculousness of this shoe. I don’t think I’d ever wear something like this, but I do appreciate it.

Confessions
Sex in the City madness has gripped the city. I was suppose to attend a Sex and the City themed party but I just didn’t have the energy after the Chick Advisor Shop Crawl. To be completely honest, I don’t like Sex in the City. I watched a few seasons of the show but I got bored. It was never something I could relate to – four aging white women and their relationships in New York City.
But I’m sure the movie will do well. Patrick Field has paired with Payless to cash in on the hype. They certainly aren’t my cup of tea and the style names are just plain obnoxious – heiress, empress, princess *shudder* and socialite. I’m not a big fan of Payless shoes, I never find styles that I like. Although I could say that for most shoe stores I walk into. Another thing is that I really don’t like the way they fit. I have two pairs of payless shoes and they are cute but not comfortable. However, these silver sandals don’t offend me from Patrica’s collection.
i want…
I’m all about the mini this summer. It’s strange. As I got older the skirt lengths got longer, but this summer I’m just dying for more mini skirts, dresses, anything that shows a ton of leg. This dress has a lovable obnoxious print and it’s short as all hell.
i want: Fidelity Spring 2008 Denim
I’m always the opposite when it comes to jeans, everyone is going wide leg and I’m finally enjoying the skinny leg. Fidelity now has skinny jeans in a rainbow of colours- Winter White, Sunflower, Stone, Sky, Sable Black, Plum, Monteray Midnight, Metal Navy, Lime, Green, Fuschia, Curaco, Cranberry, Charcoal, Berry. I’m liking the Fuschia.
I have a great pair of Fidelity Jeans that were purchased in 2005 and they are still one of my favourite pairs. I bet their skinny jeans are very comfortable.
They are $140 and available at the following Over The Rainbow, Mendocino, Body Blue, Joelles, Leslies, Agent 99, Denim 101, Something Irrestible, Swank, Mimi & Coco, Tea Leaf, Foosh, Bamboo Ballroom, Lucys and JJ Whiskey
Lanvin Paris Window Display
When Tommy Ton was in Paris for the fall collections he took some amazing pictures of the Lanvin Window Display. He’s let me post some of the pics here. Thanks Tommy
This is my favourite picture. The dress is gorgeous and the yellow would look killer on me. I would just need a little man to carry a fan for wind around behind me like John G has.

I really like the scribble pattern, it reminds me of doodles in Chemistry class.
Philip Sparks Designer PA
I stopped by Town Shoes on Saturday to say hi to Philip Sparks, who was making a personal appearance along with David Dixon. They were both hawking their current shoe lines both of which are available now at Town Shoes.

Stella McCartney Beaded strappy sandals
Perfect for summer and much more manageable than these ones. I’ve seen them in person at Holt’s in a different colour combo. I don’t know how you are suppose to deal with the heel, they are built like fetish shoes. I tried them on, way to damn high.

Christian Louboutin Yasmine cork wedges
Christian Louboutin is a shoe god, however I was rarely swept up in shoe love with any of his shoes until now. This is perfection.
Christian Louboutin Rodita zip platforms
This are amazing too; very punk. I can see the girls in Satan’s Candy in them. I can see myself in these.
