I’ve found some detail shots of the Balenciaga Spring 2010 Ready to Wear collection.
The shoes are quite interesting. The fabric treatment reminds me of a woven rug.
They don’t look comfortable at all. That band (in black, white or matching fabric) looks like it would be very painful after a few hours.
Not sure I’m a fan. I would say I like the tall black and white pair and the short pair pictured above.

I think those shoes would be painful after a few minutes! Though I agree that they have an interesting look to them.
