One of a kind pendants from SpoonFed Art
It’s always nice when beautiful things grace my email. That was the case with SpoonFed Art. I was totally blown away by the detail and creativity of the jewelry. Pendants using spoons were so unique. It was a perfect medium for the tiny collages that Karin Collins puts together. Each pendant is one of a kind. There many pieces that are just gorgeous to look at.
Tuesday Weld, Fall
Evangeline, Two Flowers
Pearl Rose, Green Cameo
Golden Stardust, Crushed Velvet Rose
There are also many fun pieces that incorporates unusual imagery with the exquisite detailing.
Depth, Kira Bloom
Garland, Paris Blue
Grape Jelly Dinosaur
Each pendant comes with a black or white suede cord. You can also request a key ring that can be used with scarves. My personal favourites are Depth and Kira Blooms. All the pendants featured here are available for purchase online at Spoonfedart.com.
Karin had begun fashioning pendants out of spoons as a means of therapy for an eating disorder. “It was the first time I had allowed myself a real creative outlet and it made life better. I made the pendants for myself, but every time I wore one I was amazed at the amount of compliments I received.” So when a friend suggested that she start a business, Karin decided to give it a try… and SpoonFed Art was born.
