i want Givenchy Spring 2009 shoes.

Givenchy has some amazing, amazing shoes right now. Givenchy Cut-out shoe boots Christian Louboutin did a fuchsia shoe last season, but I think this Givenchy one is much superior. I see me in these with the Alexander McQueen dress I tried on at Holts. I’m freaking myself out. Givenchy Crossed strap sandals Givenchy Silver strap sandal I’m really smitten with these sandals. They are like the perfect all around summer shoe. Givenchy Lace ankle sandals EDIT: I saw the Givenchy Lace ankle sandals at Browns on Bloor Street in Toronto today. They must have just arrived and they have both black and white. – Feb 14, 2009

Alexander Wang made me cry Oh My God aloud and breathlessly

I was browsing the Alexander Wang site for a video of the Spring 2009 collection. There were pictures of the collection but no video, so I decided to browse and found the accessories. I had to check out the shoes. I saw the video in February and the shoes looked insane. (The runway music is pretty kick ass in this show) The title of this post is pretty much link bait, but it’s actually true. These shoes are insane!!!!!

i want…

Raphael Young shoes How can you not resist a shoe inspired by Icarus. Spring 2009, inspired by the samurai, looks like it will be just as interesting. i want…

Jonathan Kelsey shoes These boots have a armadillo quality to them that I enjoy. When I was in NYC for the Spring 2008 collections I remember picking up a pair of Jonathan’s shoes to try on. They didn’t have my size and I had no idea how much they cost at that point or I wouldn’t have bothered. Jonthan Kelsey is available at Holt Renfrew Bloor Street.

i want: Nicholas Kirkwood Fall 2008 Shoes

Nicholas Kirkwood shoes These are not for the faint of fashion. Kirkwood is genius. An alumnus of prestigious design schools Central Saint Martin’s and Cordwainers, 27-year-old British designer Nicholas Kirkwood launched his eponymous collection in Spring 2005. The collection of architecturally inspired pieces with a blend of genres subverting the relationship between tradition and modernity instantly won the attention of Grace Jones, Daphne Guinness, the late Isabella Blow and Cecilia Dean of Visionaire as well as rave reviews from industry insiders…Kirkwood’s shoe making talent has meant he is much sought after by the design community. Recently French fashion house Chloé employed him to consult on their AW 07 collection. Kirkwood has collaborated with an array of established and emerging designers including Gareth Pugh, Zac Posen, Phillip Lim, Doo Ri, Boudicca, Belstaff, Basso & Brooke and Louise Goldin.(source) Nicholas Kirkwood is available in Toronto at Plum Shoes 29 Bellair St. (at York ville Ave.) 416 964 141 images: Nicholas Kirkwood
