RIP Yves Saint Laurent

Sunday, Yves Saint Laurent passed. PARIS (AFP) — Yves Saint Laurent, who died Sunday aged 71, was one of a handful of designers who dominated 20th century fashion, on a par with Christian Dior, Coco Chanel and Paul Poiret. Fidelity Denim I’m always the opposite when it comes to jeans, everyone is going wide leg and I’m finally enjoying the skinny leg. Fidelity now has skinny jeans in a rainbow of colours- Winter White, Sunflower, Stone, Sky, Sable Black, Plum, Monteray Midnight, Metal Navy, Lime, Green, Fuschia, Curaco, Cranberry, Charcoal, Berry. I’m liking the Fuschia. I have a great pair of Fidelity Jeans that were purchased in 2005 and they are still one of my favourite pairs. I bet their skinny jeans are very comfortable. Lanvin Paris Window Display

When Tommy Ton was in Paris for the fall collections he took some amazing pictures of the Lanvin Window Display. He’s let me post some of the pics here. Thanks Tommy This is my favourite picture. The dress is gorgeous and the yellow would look killer on me. I would just need a little man to carry a fan for wind around behind me like John G has.

Christian Dior Resort 2009 yawn!

The only thing exciting about the Christian Dior Resort 2009 Collection was seeing Alex Wek on the runway again. John you need to snap out of this funk you are in. It’s getting repetitive and boring. This collection was a mess. image: style.com
