Why don’t we get H&M commericals
I’m so late in seeing these Karl Stella Viktor & Rolf *cough* Cavalli *cough* Daria in a bikini Update: I had to remove the last commercial since the youtube user stopped hosting it.

Jonathan Saunders silk skirt and shirt I love this skirt and shirt combination by Jonathan Saunders. The draping on the skirt is fantastic along with the colour combination. It’s looks a lot better on Net-a-Porter than did it on the runway in the spring. Jonathan Saunders is actually available in Toronto at Scarlet Boutique. The Kaiser is coming out with a new bag line and I kinda like some. The line won’t be available until Spring 2009. My love for Karl Largerfeld has grown 10 fold since reading The Beautiful Fall (see side bar for amazon link). Amazing book which really give you an insight into how brilliant this man is. via Karl Lagerfeld’s New Bag Line Is Futuristic! — The Cut: New York Magazine’s Fashion Blog images: same source
The Miu Miu campaign is out and while Vanessa looks beautiful, she can’t help make those clothes look any better. I do love the shoe ads though. The first ones are obnoxious enough. I wonder if they are too forward for T.O. and I’ll see these come Now or Never. via the Fashion Spot – Miu Miu F/W 08.09 : Vanessa Paradis by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot images: same source

Members Only Berry Nylon Jacket One of the few things to come back from the 80s that I approve. Get me some cardboard so I can do a headspin! Ha, ha. Comment if you saw this in the theater like I did! The arrows are pointing at Jean Claude Van Damme if you can believe it. image: membersonlystyle.com EDIT: God, I was sleeping and forgot the image of the jacket

Knits by Sacai. I’ve been turned onto Sacai recently. Abe Chitose worked at Comme des Garçons and Junya Watanabe for 10 years before starting Sacai in 1999. Her knitwear is amazing. Holt Renfrew carries the line and you should really go into the Bloor street store to and check the stuff out, especially if you haven’t had the pleasure of looking at Japanese design up close. I’m in love with the above cardigan, it’s all about the collar and shoulder. The one that Holt’s carries had burgundy in the ruffles. This season was all about the ruffle and it was incorporated throughout the collection. images: the Fashion Spot – sacai F/W 08.09
