i got: Denis Gagnon x Bedo Dress

So, Denis Gagnon partnered with Bedo last August to created a little capsule collection. I managed to grab myself two dresses from the collection when the markdown season started. I didn’t get any of the iconic pieces that I’ve seen people sporting but I do like my drapy tunic/dresses. I treat this dress more like a tunic right now and pair it with leggings and boots. This was taken at Parts and Labour for the TOMMY dinner party that was hosted by Jeanne Beker. I’m standing with Tiyana Grulovic who is a Fashion Editor at the Globe and Mail. George Pimentel was there to photograph all the guests and then those photos ended up on WireImage.com. I posted about the cute Darcel adventures at the Fashion Weeks. Craig Redman’s caricatures of fashion icons are so adorable that I had to own them. So I bought the Darcel Disappoints — Fashion Week postcard set. It’s so adorable. To celebrate the fashion week insanity I’m releasing a few sets of the postcards I did with colette and Nowness for Fashion’s Night Out here in New York. They are a nice size (5 x 7) and there are 10 different cards, all for 15 bucks – nuts! I got a the beautiful Hermès L’air de Paris Gavroche for my birthday. I didn’t talk about the other really awesome birthday present. Oh yes, it’s these babies. Camilla Skovgaard makes the most comfortable heel I own.  They have been getting a lot of wear since June.  I’m loving the last so much that I’ve been toying with the idea of another pair of Camilla Skovgaard shoes in the future, perhaps many pairs in years to come.   Not only are they comfortable, they are a smoking hot shoe. These Criss Cross Sandal by Marais USA are my new favourite summertime flat. They are super comfortable and not expensive. I love the discussion and stares these shoes bring. They are so bright and neon. I love it. I picked these up at Chasse Gardee. They carry Marais USA in Toronto and they range in the $85 – $120.

I just got my beloved Chloé booties from the Spring Summer 2008 collection fixed at Kaner. They have been out of my shoe rotation for at least a year because I’m that lazy. It inspired me to share my shoes on the blog. I really loved Chloé with Paulo Melim Andersson at the helm. I wish I was able to get a few more pieces by him before he was kicked out of the house. These were a Holt Renfrew Now or Never buy.

I got the Potion Ankle Boots by Jeffrey Campbell a few months back because they reminded me of the Chloë Sevigny for Opening Ceremony C02 Bucklet Boots. The Potion’s are the inspired version and much cheaper. I discovered that Chasse Gardee would be bringing them in, so I sent off a quick email to hold a pair for me. I haven’t gotten to wear them much because of the weather but I can see these being a summer staple. I got this Rxmance Tshirt at Holt Renfrew the other day. It’s a men’s medium shirt. They didn’t have a small available so I decided I could wear as a dress if I wanted. Just slap a belt on it.
