Year: 2006

i got: Summer Soles

Summer Soles I read about Summer Soles shoe insoles in Lou Lou Magazine. They sounded intriguing. They claim to keep your feet dry in closed or open shoes. So I ordered them. To be honest I was skeptical. I was wrong, these insoles are amazing. They keep you feet nice and dry. They also feel really good. Wanna tip, check this page first before ordering.

Jeremy Laing F/W 2006

I don’t like to get adhead of myself too much. I’m not really into thinking about Spring when it’s cold and thinking about Fall when it’s warming up, but that’s just me. I did happen to notice that Jeremy Laing has the F/W 2006 collection pictures up on the website. Love the presentation. Drool away people.

i got…(Diesel Tulip Handbag)

Diesel Little Tulip Handbag I decided to reward myself with another handbag. On the weekend I visited Over the Rainbow and purchased this fun and colourful bag. It screams summertime fun and keeps me looking forward to warmer weather, sandals and summer dresses. Do not let the name fool you, this bag can hold a lot of stuff. It opens up to reveal a large zippered pocket in the middle.

Mackage I’m flattered

How nice of Mackage to name a coat after me. LOL. I saw this beautiful coat on the Browns website and fell in love. It was only when I went looking for good pictures did I find out that the coat is named Anita (geekigirl’s alter ego). And they know me so well, it’s military inspired. YES!!!!! Mackage coats are available at a lot of places in TO, to many to list actually. If you go to their website and click stores, they will happily email you the list. Pics from Revolve Clothing.

just a reminder…

That the YSL Dada is the hottest shoe this spring. Why oh why can’t I justify the price. Oh I know, cause I’m not independently wealthy. Sigh! Platino metallic Dada pump Ruggine metallic Dada pump Green lamé metallic Dada pump Pics from Style.com. Thanks Style!

Od to a new job…

I started a new job on Monday. I’m still in software, just back to my favourite stomping grounds, the business district. I worked for 3 years at a company that didn’t have a dress code. I could pretty much wear whatever I wanted. So I spent most of my time in jeans. Now that I’m working for a financial institution I have to look a lot more professional. Thankfully, I didn’t need to buy a whole new wardrobe. I’m a clothes horse and have a far bit of professional attire. Not enough suits though, so I’ve been looking. This post is about if I had unlimited funds to buy clothes for my new job. If I could afford these clothes I probably wouldn’t need to work. I took a look through the Spring/Summer 06 collections and this is what I found. Starting with a good old Canadian boy, Jeremy Laing Roland Mouret
