Hi geekigirl,
I like checking out your blog but it does give me a certain sense of envy. You see, I live in Winnipeg, where there a few fun boutiques and big box and mall stores rule.
My question for you is regarding Canadian online shoe stores. While there are plenty of ones in the States, I don’t like considering the duty and exchange. I am aware of here shipping in Canada but would love to know if you have come across any others.

This post needs and update and here I am to do that. Online shopping is getting better in Canada. There are some new additions for online shoe shopping.

Online shopping in Canada isn’t very good most of the time. Things are slowly changing though as one of the big players in Canadian shoes is going online, Browns. They aren’t quite live yet, but if you sign up for the announcement you will get a coupon for $25 bucks.

There are others that offer online service:

NEW – Jonathan and Olivia – Has online shopping and they sell shoes

NEW – – Has a good selection of designer shoes

NEW – Town Shoes – It’s not exactly e-commerce but you can order shoes online.

NEW – Adidas – Has a Canadian online portal

NEW – The Shoe Company

Browns – is now open and not in holding as mentioned in the original post.

Neon Clothing – Supplier of Dr. Martens

Gravity Pope – They have retail outlets in Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. They do online sales but their backoffice is not hooked up to the site. It’s a bit of a manual process but they will take your order and deliver your shoes.

Aldo Shoes – You probably can got the mall and see Aldo, but they deliver too.

John Fluevog

Sportmart for you athletic shoes.

Adidas – More sporting needs although they do have cute casual shoes too.

Transit|Spring Shoes

Naturalizer ships shoes via BorderFree, which calculates the duties and taxes at point of purchase.
