Rick Owens – Ready to Wear Fall 2008 – 2009 I see another Rick Owens coat in my future. I love this collection. Thank god for Paris, I get giddy. The only thing I don’t like too much is the zippered pants. I can’t believe Rick has changed my opinion on the aesthetics of fur; it’s possible for it to look good and not tacky. Lanvin – Large metallic bag I’m obsessed with this beautiful purple bag by Lanvin. They have it at Holt’s and I go in to drool over it occasionally. It’s more incredible in person. Purple large metallic bag with silver trims on the corners and the main opening. Chain link handles sit on either side. A popper fastening sits on the main opening. Prada’s trembled blossoms video looks much better on prada.com. Louis Vuitton is advertising on tv now. Only in select countries. I laughed a bit at the Prada video at first, but it is really well done and beautiful. I prefer it to the LV ad, which I find a little pretentious. It’s beautiful, but leaves me angry.

Now or Never has been very good to me this season (It’s over for this season people). I managed to get this Rick Owens Funnel Neck Jacket for 75% off. It was the last one on the rack and it fit perfectly. I was in love. Initially, I walked away from the jacket and left the store, but I kept talking about it which was driving MJ nuts. I couldn’t get it out of my mind. A la Trent Reznor, it kept calling me, kept on calling me! So, I went back and the rest is history. Afterwards, MJ informed me that this jacket sold out completely, everywhere. This jacket fits amazing. The arms are a very slim cut but they are lined in silk so that it’s easy to put it on. The underside of the arms is made from a knit material which also adds to the sleekness of the arm. The double collar is drool worthy and I love how high it stands up.
