Jeremy Laing F/W 2006

I don’t like to get adhead of myself too much. I’m not really into thinking about Spring when it’s cold and thinking about Fall when it’s warming up, but that’s just me. I did happen to notice that Jeremy Laing has the F/W 2006 collection pictures up on the website. Love the presentation. Drool away people.

i got…(Diesel Tulip Handbag)

Diesel Little Tulip Handbag I decided to reward myself with another handbag. On the weekend I visited Over the Rainbow and purchased this fun and colourful bag. It screams summertime fun and keeps me looking forward to warmer weather, sandals and summer dresses. Do not let the name fool you, this bag can hold a lot of stuff. It opens up to reveal a large zippered pocket in the middle.

Mackage I’m flattered

How nice of Mackage to name a coat after me. LOL. I saw this beautiful coat on the Browns website and fell in love. It was only when I went looking for good pictures did I find out that the coat is named Anita (geekigirl’s alter ego). And they know me so well, it’s military inspired. YES!!!!! Mackage coats are available at a lot of places in TO, to many to list actually. If you go to their website and click stores, they will happily email you the list. Pics from Revolve Clothing.

Od to a new job…

I started a new job on Monday. I’m still in software, just back to my favourite stomping grounds, the business district. I worked for 3 years at a company that didn’t have a dress code. I could pretty much wear whatever I wanted. So I spent most of my time in jeans. Now that I’m working for a financial institution I have to look a lot more professional. Thankfully, I didn’t need to buy a whole new wardrobe. I’m a clothes horse and have a far bit of professional attire. Not enough suits though, so I’ve been looking. This post is about if I had unlimited funds to buy clothes for my new job. If I could afford these clothes I probably wouldn’t need to work. I took a look through the Spring/Summer 06 collections and this is what I found. Starting with a good old Canadian boy, Jeremy Laing Roland Mouret

StyleHive, social bookmarking with a fashionable twist

There are more than a few social bookmarking sites out there. There are fewer that allow pictures to be displayed. The most recent one I’ve tried and liked is Stylehive. Like other social bookmarking tools users choose a picture from a website when creating the bookmark. These pictures are also usually very small (150×150). With Stylehive you can attach many full sized pictures to a bookmark. I like this a lot. You can check out my Stylehive. The software tester in me is hoping that Edit bookmark and Delete bookmark functions will be in the final release. I’ve made some mistakes that I would like to correct, LOL. It would be cool also to see a function where you could display a bookmark from the user’s hive on their website. The site is in Alpha currently and open for registration. I’m sure there are more good things to come. What is the Stylehive? The Stylehive is new kind of website – a collaborative shopping community. It is a place where contributors can work together to …

i got: Air Cadet Overcoat

I was walking by Black Market on Tuesday and spotted a beautiful grey wool coat on the racks outside. I can spot a military jacket from 10 paces and blindfolded. It was my lucky day, I discovered a stash of RCAF Air Cadet overcoats. They are also referred to as Greatcoats The jacket also includes RCAF gold buttons, sweet. Price, you ready for this. 10 bucks. $11.50 with tax. SCORE! The best thing about this coat is the fit. The were made for adolescent boys, which translates to correct sizing for an adult woman with a military fetish. It’s not easy to find authentic military gear for a size 4. It’s a shame that this pictures make the coat so dark. The closest picture from the Internet I could find was this Picture taken from eBay If you are in the area you should take a look for yourself. There were about 10 more and in perfect condition. It’s just too bad it’s getting warm. Great find for next winter though. Black Market MEGA WAREHOUSE …
