I found the full show video for the Balenciaga Ready to Wear – Fall Winter 2010 collection. The soundtrack is killer. This video is great for providing all the angles of the models so you can see the back details. The clothing has so much more depth with video. The construction is a lot clearer. A few weeks ago I attended the Miss J. Alexander Celebrity Walk Off at Holt Renfew. The show was a lot of fun and afterwards I got to meet Miss J Alexander himself where he wrote a super cute inscription in his book, Follow the Model. I found some video of the event. I’m over Balmain again. It’s amazing how I can love one season and not care the next. It was a lot of the same but they went overload on the gold. I did enjoy the Prince runway music. Haider Ackermann Fall 2010 Collection is the exception to my no black and brown together rule. I love the undulating collars that can be wrapped around the neck and the peplums that can be removed. The clothing is very architectural in nature. I love the use of the zippers to give the curves some stiffness. The cocoon coats are a great contrast to the more elaborate parts of the collection. Celine Fall 2010 is another sleek, wearable ride from Phoebe Philo. She’s used texture in outerwear and continued with the sleek leathers. The accessories are spectacular starting with the great riding boot with the gold block heel. I also love the orange clutch. 2010 A Space Odyssey is a film by Rodarte and Todd Cole. It’s pretty beautiful and the clothing looks amazing. I get shivers at 4:26. It’s making me change my mind about the spring 2010 collection.
