The Fashion Cares 25 ad campaign has just been released and man how good does Tara Gill look in this. Smoking! They are working that glitter theme and I love it. This is Dane who is also with Elmer Olsen models. He’s looking great too. A new block of tickets for Fashion Cares 25 at $195 have gone on sale at Ticketmaster. Fritz Helder & The Phantoms and Fashion Cares Presents: Platinum

Fritz Helder & The Phantoms and Fashion Cares Presents: Platinum. Fritz Helder & The Phantoms are creating a fashion frenzy with PLATINUM – a special project to help raise funds for ACT (AIDS Committee of Toronto). Combining their loves of music, art and fashion, FH&TP have teamed up with Fashion Cares, ACT and 10 very talented designers to create special edition Fritz Helder & The Phantoms concert merchandise to be auctioned off on May 22, 2009 at “Platinum (LIVE)” in Toronto to celebrate the release of their upcoming album, “Greatest Hits: Platinum Edition” on newly formed label, NELSTAR Music. Proceeds from the sales of the limited edition designs will go to Fashion Cares / ACT! Check out the designs from Greta Constantine, Jeremy Laing, Nada, Oligarchy, Pink Cobra, Evan Biddell, Label, Franke for Chasse Gardée, Jaime Galindo and HOI BO. Fashion sCares

I attended Fashion sCares. It was a blast getting dressed up and everything. I chronicled my adventure at blogTO.com. You can find the direct link here, Fashion sCares: The Costume Report. I was the one and only Grace Jones and here was my inspiration and the execution. I didn’t have the jacket, which looks like Issey Miyake so I decided to forget that and do the tried and true jumpsuit. I think I’m a fan of jumpsuits now, they are a lot of fun. Until you have to go to the bathroom. I paired the jumpsuit with a scarf to emulate the look of the jacket. Danielle from Final Fashion totally helped me out with the mask. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t have been able to pull this look off. My next thanks is to Gail McInnes who did my makeup and completed the look. Here are my photos from the night.
