I’m obsessing over the Stretch Silk-Blend Midi Dress since I saw this Miu Miu Fall – Winter 2013 – 2014 runway piece in the ad campaign. It just screams simple sex appeal to me. It’s the exposed shoulders that give this dress that kick I’m in love with. This silk blend beauty is €1,069 at mytheresa.com. images: style.com, mytheresa.com
The Fall Winter 2013 – 2014 ad campaigns are starting to come out and so far Miu Miu is my favourite. There are some really striking images in the campaign. The love the way the colours seem so saturated and leap off the page. Evoking a spirit of adventure and daring, the Fall/Winter 2013 campaign captures the passage of girls in a twilight cinema-scape loaded with intrigue, imagination and femininity. Set at the end of a seaside pier, their stories unfurl against a mysterious cityscape and vanishing horizon, brought to life in an up-tempo quirky dance video where the models move harmoniously with the rhythm and mood of the music. While standing on the dock of the bay waiting for a ferry, they dance away the fun of the night before returning home in the early morning. In a fabricated reality of noir optimism, Inez & Vinoodh capture a diverse and exhilarating cast of characters including Katlin Aas, Emily DiDonato, Daphne Groeneveld, Georgia May Jagger, Adriana Lima, Marina Nery, Hind Sahli, Anne Verhallen and Lindsey …
Miu Miu. How I love you for the latest film in your Women’s Tales series. I never expected to see a film with an all black cast by a black director associated with Miu Miu ever. As you can guess I’m pleasantly surprised to be wrong and totally in love with Miu Miu. The cast rocks Miu Miu designs and look smoking hot doing it. LOVE! The Door, by Ava DuVernay, the fifth Miu Miu Women’s Tale, is a celebration of the transformative power of feminine bonds, and a symbolic story of life change. The symbolic centre of The Door is the front entrance of the protagonist’s home. As she opens it to greet a friend in the powerfully framed opening scenes, she is shrouded in an oblique sadness. “In the film, characters arrive at the door of a friend in need, bringing something of themselves,” explains director DuVernay. “Eventually, we witness our heroine ready to walk through the door on her own. The door in the film represents a pathway to who we are.” …
I’m loving Chloe Sevigny these days. Hit and Miss is an amazing show and Chloe does a great job in the role. I’m on a Chloe fangirl high right now and these ads are just so much fun from the crazy prints to the ridiculous tea party concept. She is seriously looking great in these ads. images: miumiu.com
Leave it to Miuccia to come up with more sunglasses that I need to own. This time it’s not a pair of Prada’s I’m drooling over, it’s Miu Miu. These are from the Culte Sunglasses Collection. I love the pentagonal-shaped and brushed gold finish. The sunglasses are also featured in Miu Miu’s latest fashion film, Women’s Tales Saga. The film stars Italian actress Maya Sansa and is set to a haunting soundtrack, written especially for the film by electronic pop trio Au Revoir Simone. Following The Powder Room — Zoe Cassavetes’ dreamy story of opulence and glamour, and MUTA — Lucrecia Martel’s film noir filled with mutant fashion divas — The Woman Dress is again set in an all-female world of glamour and desire. But this time fashion obsession is taken to its most extreme conclusion, in a metaphysical tale of transcendence and ritual. images: miumiu.com
The Miu Miu Spring Summer 2012 Handbags are so adorable and so impractical. images: tooklookbook.com
I’m not immune to the pull of the glittery booties from the Miu Miu Fall Winter 2011 – 2012 collection. They are just so much fun. image: tooklookbook.com
MUTA is a creepy (but fun) short film directed by Lucrecia Martel for Miu Miu. It features looks from the Fall – Winter 2011 – 2012 collection. The film reminds me of creepy kids in Korean horror movies. Do you find it as creepy as I do?
I like the images from the Miu Miu Spring Summer 2011 ad campaign shot by Mert & Marcus. Glad to see Sasha P back in the Prada SpA ad world again. The collection looks so much better in these ads. I’m kinda liking it now. images: fashiongonerouge
These glitter brogues by Miu Miu are so much fun. They are the perfect accent to a menswear inspired outfit. I’ve seen these ones at Holt Renfrew on Bloor. images: net-a-porter.com
I’m loving the shoes from Miu Miu this fall. They are part of that ladylike dressing trend but have a bit of an edge to them. The spats, how can you not love this.
The shoes from the Miu Miu Fall Winter 2010 – 2011 collection are like nothing I’ve seen before. I’m not sure what to make of the spats they have going on. Are they part of the shoe? I see that they are have Velcro and are removable. I think I prefer the shoes without the spats. These shoes are a little bizarre and I can’t see myself wearing them. What are your thoughts? images:style.com
I was shocked to see a great photo from Katie Holmes for Miu Miu. Shocked I tell you. image: the Fashion Spot – Miu Miu S/S 09 : Katie Holmes by Mert & Marcus
Miu Miu Lightning bolt heel boots These are amazing!!!!!
Miu Miu shoes are awesome this season. The Ad Campaign is amazing. Miu Miu Peep-toe Mary-Janes Miu Miu Suede platform pumps
The Miu Miu campaign is out and while Vanessa looks beautiful, she can’t help make those clothes look any better. I do love the shoe ads though. The first ones are obnoxious enough. I wonder if they are too forward for T.O. and I’ll see these come Now or Never. via the Fashion Spot – Miu Miu F/W 08.09 : Vanessa Paradis by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot images: same source

Miu Miu Python & Suede Slides Almost as cute as the Prada flats I want. images : Saks.com
Miu Miu Ready to Wear – Fall Winter 2008 – 2009 I was in denial about the 90s revival, but this hideous collection from Miu Miu and Chloe Sevigny By Opening Ceremony have sealed the deal. Not so hideous in parts was Isabel Marant, it did go way into the 90s with cowboy chic. Not my favourite look, but there is a couple pieces that are nice. The footwear, horrible.
