Ann Demeulemeester Jacket Spring 2010 jacket I love the two looks this jacket holds. It can be more conservative when zippered and a little unconventional when not. This beautiful Ann Demeulemeester jacket isn’t available until March 31 but you can pre-order it on Luisaviaroma.com
I’m enjoying the Spring 2010 collection from Suzuki Takayuki. He is a young Japanese designer who label started in 2002 and made its runway debut in 2007. It’s sportswear with a gothic edge utilizing volume and ruffles The Fall 2009 collection had a more elaborate installation. FTV.com has a video for the Fall 2009 collection by Suzuki Takayuki. I wish I could embed the video for you. images: the Fashion Spot and eastnews.ru
I was trolling the some Tokyo Spring 2010 collection photos and discovered this Japanese label called G.V.G.V. Designer Mug was born in 1971. After graduating in 1999 from the Kuwasawa Design School Mug laid down the foundations of her own brand that has come to be known as G.V.G.V. Mug’s world is represented by a mix of femininity and masculinity, with free sensitivity that is present in every season’s collection. G.V.G.V. has now become one of the most attractive Tokyo fashion label. G.V.G.V. has also injected its creativity into other fashion brands through design collaborations. In collaborating with UNIQLO’s designer’s invitation for their 2007 spring and summer collection and also producing for UT, the T-shirt for concept of UNIQLO t-shirts from 2008 spring and summer. There were a few pieces of the spring 2010 collection that I liked but it was the jewellery that peaked my interest. There are a few online retails for G.V.G.V but no shops outside of Japan. images: eastnews.ru

The impeccable Celine Spring 2010 has hit the floor at Holt Renfrew, the exclusive retailer in Canada. I had to check it out myself. The clothing lives up to the pictures. Everything was just so beautiful, flawless and drool worthy. It’s expensive as all hell too. Phoebe, you know how to cut, it’s disgusting! I could wear it all. Just to refresh your memory here is the Celine Spring 2010 video. images: the Fashion Spot
There are a couple of looks from the Jason Wu Pre-Fall 2010 collection that has me interested. The weird knot detail on these two first pieces are intirguing to me. I really would love to see it in person and get a look at the construction. The rest of the collection is your standard fare for Jason, short cute dresses and coats. images: the Fashion Spot
Alexander Wang Pre-Fall 2010 moves away from the casual sportswear to something more minimal. I like it. images: style.com
I stopped by Holt Renfrew for the Greta Constantine Spring 2010 Trunk Show and Personal Appearance on Saturday. Here are some pictures I took from the event. I also found out that I have another dress named after me by the Greta Constantine boys. It’s called the Clarke. Click the thumbnail to see the larger version. I’m constantly amazed at how amazing 2009 has been. 2 dresses named after me, what the hell!!!! The Greta Constantine Spring 2010 collection that will be on sale at Holt Renfrew includes a number of pieces with a more accessible price point.
LG Fashion Week this year featured something pretty neat. Toronto got its own edition of the Fashion Week Daily. I was obsessed with this mag when I was in NYC for the Spring 2008 collection. I’m not sure if the magazine was available anywhere else but the tents. It came out towards the end of LG Fashion Week and I was really impressed with their turnaround time. I’ve scanned the magazine, sans ads, so that you can enjoy it.
