Sergio Rossi Ready to Wear – Spring 2009 Accessories I’m a big fan of the coffee bean print handbag and flats. I don’t care for the other two shoes, but I thought they were good examples of the crazy shoes trends for spring 2009. images: style.com
Anna Sui Ready to Wear – Spring 2009 Anna Sui is a little too boho for me, but I’m loving the sandals. images: style.com

Sergio Rossi Shoes I love these platform sandals from Sergio Rossi. The colour combos are spot on and they are unusual, very angular. I would wear these with a mini dress or skirt, they are perfect for showing off leg! Sphere Heel Sandals, I swoon at the ridiculousness of this shoe. I don’t think I’d ever wear something like this, but I do appreciate it. images: sergiorossi.com
Sex in the City madness has gripped the city. I was suppose to attend a Sex and the City themed party but I just didn’t have the energy after the Chick Advisor Shop Crawl. To be completely honest, I don’t like Sex in the City. I watched a few seasons of the show but I got bored. It was never something I could relate to – four aging white women and their relationships in New York City. But I’m sure the movie will do well. Patrick Field has paired with Payless to cash in on the hype. They certainly aren’t my cup of tea and the style names are just plain obnoxious – heiress, empress, princess *shudder* and socialite. I’m not a big fan of Payless shoes, I never find styles that I like. Although I could say that for most shoe stores I walk into. Another thing is that I really don’t like the way they fit. I have two pairs of payless shoes and they are cute but not comfortable. However, these silver …
I got a look book on my weekend trip to the friendly neighbourhood Prada store. I love the illustrations of James Jean that is all over the collection. It turns out there is a whole line of accessories too. My trusty scanner and I got to work. Note these are large images for your enjoyment. Click the thumbnails. Nathalie Atkinson from the National Post wrote and article on James Jean called Pure Jeanius. Another great article with a lot of images (many you have seen on I want – I got) is found at the comics212 site in a post called: PRADA IS JAMES JEAN: Comic artist covers spring collection. This is the It bag of the season, even with all the calls about the end of it bags. NyMag has a post about getting your hands on the exclusive bag. Please don’t hotlink!
Fashionista talked about these cheap Old Navy sandals in the post called Our New Solemate. I was intirguied but didn’t search them out. I was in Old Navy last week and found the last pair of 8s sitting around for 10 bucks. I couldn’t resist, they are pretty cute. image: oldnavy.com
I’m loving the shoes from Chloé this season. Chloé Piped leather sandals These are pretty and I love the colour. Chloé Perspex panel platform sandals Chloé Patent leather sandals These are so weird they are awesome. Chloé Patent leather sandals I like the new Chloé, it was time to switch up the brand. EDIT: Holt Renfew is carrying the silver version of the Piped leather sandals. They are stunning in person, it’s a shame that they aren’t in teal. images: net-a-porter.com
Vernice Flower Patent Sandal by Prada I wasn’t excited about Prada this season back in September. However, some of the pieces are growing on me. I really like the ad campaign too. This sandal is really cute.
