A Geisha Girl Necklace in Black via modish.com
I attended the Elmer Olsen BootCamp 2 Big Time party at the Guvernment. The show featured Elmer Olsen models and there were model agents in the crowd. At this party, I met a guy that was desperately trying to get scouted. He wanted to be discovered that night. It didn’t happen. However, I decided to help him out here on I want – I got because I’m a nice person and the fact I got a free cab ride home. He emailed me his best photo and I’m posting it after the jump for any visiting model agents to check out. Are you ready for the unveiling….
Jewelry by Gemma Redux These long necklaces hand past the waist and are made of vintage copper steel chains braided and knotted. No retailers in Canada but you can purchase online at Ravinstyle.com or NewYorkDesigner.com
Last Exit to Nowhere makes tshirts inspired by movies. I love this shit. They are out of the U.K. and unfortunately one shirt would cost me about $50 bucks. Canadians don’t even get 50pence to the dollar, frustrating. OCP Inspired by one of my all time favourite movies, Robocop. Can you guess the other references? Weyland-Yutani Corp
I never did pick up the Gucci boots at the Now Or Never sale at Holt’s but I did manage to find a pair of Silver heels to satisfy my wanton lust for a pair. They’ve done me well this summer. I love the style of heel on the shoe and I’m very tempted by the dark plum coloured version.
I saw this band called Dragonette play at The Social a couple weekends ago. They were amazing. Check out the video for I get around. They are so incredible live and studio recordings don’t do them justice. Toronto is such a small town at times. The 6 degrees of separation is very disturbing at times. Through friends of friends I met Jamie. In conversation with Jamie, I discovered that his girlfriend Jen is from Balmshell who I saw at the Crave Party. I covered that party at blogTO and an got here. I thought I would plug his new venture Be a Good Buzz, where you can submit and promote the things that make you feel people need to know about. Here are some photos from the night after the jump
Danube platforms by Nine West I always wished to be taller than I am. I currently stand at 5’5″ but I really wanted to be between 5’10” and 5’11”. It started in high school, I longed for the height because I played basketball and volleyball. I’ve found an artificial way of getting taller and it’s these shoes I picked up from Nine West. They add like 3 to 4 inches, it’s awesome. My shoes look a little different than the picture. The platform doesn’t have the woven finish, it has a plain wood one. Nine West is having a great sale right now, summer shoes are half off. Have you noticed that Nine West is stocking some hot ass shoes lately
300 on DVD This is still my favourite movie of the year. It was perfection; stylized violence with hot as hell bodies. I couldn’t ask for anything more. If you are female and haven’t seen this movie, you need to rent it pronto. THIS IS SPARTA!!!!

Natalie Envelope Clutch by Posse NYC My black clutches leave a lot to be desired; I would love to own this one and put the others out of their misery. Because like the Highlander, there can be only one. It looks like lizard skin but it’s only leather. Posse NYC also makes a creme version. As always there are no Canadian retailers but you can try online at www.possenyc.com www.couturecandy.com www.fengjunk.com image: fengjunk.com
Wendy Stevens makes lovely leather and metal handbags. I’m drooling over myself.
