Time to upgrade

Getting ready to upgrade the site. I should be done for a few hours barring no crazy, horrible problems. EDIT: Upgrade went well. I’m thinking of changing this theme again now.

i want: NYC La.Ga Bag for Krv Kurva, by Sarah Parris

NYC La.Ga Bag for Krv Kurva, by Sarah Parris Ex-blogTOer Ryan LaFlamme told me about this company he works for called 66degrees a few months ago. 66degrees.com is based out of Toronto and the mandate is to “bring an array of very exclusive, mostly one-of-a-kind or limited edition products made by designers and artists around the world to people like you… people with smart tastes, people who want something different, something unique.” So I’ve been checking the site from time to time to see what’s new. This week, this bag landed in my inbox. I was smitten; it’s very unusual. The pattern reminds me of the New York City skyline. It has an interesting story also. Visualized by one of England’s most sought after designers, and hand-made at a women’s prison in Portugal, this ultra-exclusive handbag is available only at 66degrees.com. The bag marries two unique design ideas: the artistry of the bag’s graphics, and the manufacturing. Each bag …

Proenza Schouler Ready to Wear – Resort 2009

It’s weird. I’m really loving some of the looks for Resort that I probably shouldn’t. I can’t explain what draws me to these looks and I can’t believe I like the jumpsuit. The collar on this jacket is great. Some looks I just don’t get though, like this one via the Fashion Spot – Proenza Schouler Resort 2009 images: thefashionspot.com

Hunter is watching me on the web

Hunter Boots finally got it’s act together and updated their website. It’s much nicer now, easier to navigate, better pictures and fast. They’ve even have a spot on their site that aggregates blogs posts, youtube videos and flickr pictures that mention Hunter Boots. I noticed a bunch of traffic coming from the hunter site and I found out that they linked to me and it was front and center of the main “Hunter On The Web” section. The only thing that bugs me about the site is that the store locater is for the UK only. However, the North American Distributor is based out of Toronto Man Made Sales Inc 1200 Sheppard Ave East Suite 405 Toronto, Ontario, M2K 2S6 Tel: 416 756 2820 Fax: 416 756 9664 Contact them about availability around the country as I’ve only spoken about a few places in Toronto.
