Riccardo Tisci was influenced by Fritz Lang’s Metropolis and Aelita for the Spring Summer 2012 Haute Couture collection.

The crocodile gown took some 350 hours produce. The atelier would disassemble a skin, bleach it, re-dye it and remount it on tulle. It’s just incredible.

I love that this shoot had a basketball theme.  It was shot in the oldest gymnasium in Paris.

I wasn’t a fan of the oversized nose rings and earrings. They looked more painful than beautiful.
