Crazy prints in London and I’m loving it. There is a lot of Japanese influence happening in Spring 2009 via the Fashion Spot – Basso & Brooke S/S 09 London images: same source

Burberry is known for their trench coats and I love the ombre treatment Christoper Bailey had added this season. Love the pants, I’m really obsessed with the baggy right now. The shoes are getting too ridiculous. Look how high that heel is, crazy. This is another trend I’ve noticed over the fashion weeks, Super, Super, Super high platforms. the Fashion Spot – Burberry Prorsum S/S 09 Milan
Refinery29 had me laughing with their top 13 trends from London Fashion Week Crazy Lady. Over the top, under the table. We can’t tell which it is, but we still feel a certain sisterhood with this level of eccentricity. So maybe we’re crazy, too. From left: Temperley, Topshop Unique, Aquascutum, Topshop Unique Crazy Lady is now an official trend. I wonder how this is going to play out in Spring 2009. We still have Paris to see if this trend will become entrenched or not. In New York, Marc Jacobs kicked off the trend.
Another great shop in Montreal is u&i. It’s located on St Laurent but I didn’t manage to get any pictures. They weren’t as friendly as Thomas from Reborn so I didn’t bother to ask. From the Brand list you can imagine that it’s pretty cool.
On the train ride over I met a photographer named Jared. We were walking in the same direction when we got off the train and he snapped this photo of me.
A vintage beaded bag This was one of my purchases in Montreal as I was told to hit up the vintage shops. I’ve been looking for a small, clutch like bag that can fit my Smartphone (Blackberry now) and my camera. This does both and is pretty, yay! This was purchased at Friperie St-Laurent, 3976, boulevard Saint-Laurent.
One of the coolest shops in Montreal is Reborn. Adrian from Fashion Verbatim recommended that I check it out. It’s in old Montreal and I visited it after my stop at the Notre-Dame Basilica. I had forgotten the address that Adrian had given me and I was wandering around looking and then I saw the window and I knew I found the place. Thomas (I think that is his name according to Adrian) was in the shop and he was so friendly and helpful. We talked fashion a bit and I mentioned that I was from T.O. and a blogger. Turns out he knows Tommy Ton from jakandjil.com. We are both eagerly awaiting Tommy’s photos from his travels during the fashion weeks. He’s even seen my blog before and that totally blew my mind. It still to this day surprises me when I meet people that have read this site. He showed me a lot of the great pieces in the shop like the my new obsession, the Denis Gagnon leather hoodie; it’s absolutely to …
I think I’m one of the only people that loved Christoper Kane’s spring collection. It’s getting torn a new asshole on The Fashion Spot. The shoes are freakin’ ridiculous though.
