Peony Suede Hobo handbag by Dylan & Dillion
I love the pattern on this bag. Unfortunately there are no Canadian distributors of Dylan & Dillion handbags but you can purchase them online.
Feeding on my military fetish is this bag inspired by Civil War cavalry belt.
I discovered these bags while looking at Sustainable Style.
Kim White Handbags are the perfect bag: functional, stylish and comfortable, made in the most amazing fabrics known to man.
Why are Kim White Handbags so special? Made from vintage automotive fabrics, Kim White uses dead stock never-used textiles intended for use in American automobiles: cars, trucks and vans. She fortuitously unearthed an entire warehouse of automotive fabric, which may be the last existing stock anywhere in the US, and she is the sole owner of these amazing textiles. Each Kim White Handbag is tagged with the year and make of the fabric, so you know exactly what car your bag comes from (i.e.: 1983 Camaro or a 1978 Ford Mustang). Kim White Handbags specializes in automotive fabrics from the 1970’s and 1980’s, when color was de rigueur in the automotive industry. (source)
I’ve noticed that I get a lot of hits for Tano handbags. I thought I would post the Canadian retailers for those that want to know. It would be a good idea to inquire with each store as to their availability. You can also purchase Tano bags online at Musthavebag.com (I got it right this time 😉 ). Stay tuned as I will blog the Spring 2006 line when it becomes available.

There are times when I wish I could knit. This is one of those times. These bring back memories of the Arcade and playing the original Nintendo for hours on end in my basement.
Super Mario Scarf
This scarf is the coolest thing ever. I’m jealous of the boy that owns it.
Space Invaders tote
Cute tote bag. Must learn how to knit!
I’ve discovered that Artizia is carrying 2 Tano handbag styles. They are damn good looking ones too.
$195.00 CDN – Alchemist Crunch in chocolate brown
$210 – Gerard Cruberdeen in Pea Green/Brown.
I handled the bags a lot while I was in the store and they are amazing. If you are really into the massive handbag, Tano is your company.
Previously I have mentioned Tano Handbags, there is only one place in Ontario that sells them

I checked out Response today to see what the selection is like. There were none of the bags I’m coveting, boo urns. The bags are around $269.00 and they look and feel wonderful, I definately want one. I’m not going to post pictures this time, but here are some product links
I was browsing The Bag Blog and discovered Tano. They have some really nice bags. So many nice bags, that I’m so glad I’m on wordpress now, cause this is gonna be a big post. 😛
Good news, these bags are available in the T-dot at

Diamond shoulder bag by ARZA DESIGN
I love fashion that has futuristic touch. This bag totally plays on those aspects. It’s gorgeous and unlike anything I’ve seen before. The fabric detailing is very cute also. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like these bags are available in Canada yet.
Desdemona handbag by etnies
I was in Montreal from October 14 – 16. It was a great trip. I stayed at the Hotel St. Paul in old Montreal and it was amazing. I thought the service was excellent and I loved being caterer to. Sigh…memories. Anyways, I wouldn’t be a fashionista if I didn’t go shopping. I power-shopped with my lovely friend and stylist for the trip, Jason. He was great and helped me find some lovely items that I will post about in the coming days. This bag was something that I completely walked by, but Jason’s sharp eyes noticed it. The picture doesn’t show you the lovely lilac lining it has. It also doesn’t really show how big the bag is. It has 3 main compartments and a few little ones all over the place. I also didn’t get the little trinkets that are hanging off the key ring. I’m glad someone got use of it, I would have thrown those tacky things out. They aren’t a Prada Robot trick keychain, that’s for sure. I got this bag from Oceans, 3670 St-Laurent – map it!!!
I’ve come across some very cool handbags in the last few days.
Missoni Velvet Satchel
This bag is beautiful. I love everything about this bag. I love the colour scheme and pattern; the unusual shape and the hardware used for the clasp. This luxurious bag is made of black leather and velvet.
This beauty is made of chocolate suede and has golden hardware. My favourite part of this bag is the engraved coins placed all over the body of the bag. It’s also big and slouchy, I love that.
Moss green nubuck with braided leather strap and top flap.
Here’s another slouchy hobo bag in cognac. I love the riveting on the leather shoulder strap. This bag comes in other colours like Chocolate, Oz Emerald/Lime, Plum/Cognac (next favorite colour) and Washed Apple Green Python.
Purseket – Organize your handbag
A Purseket is an organizer for your handbag. I carry a lot of things in my handbags. It’s always a bitch when it comes to find things like keys, wallet, lip balm…
This handy insert however gives more pockets to put all your gear in. This is especially good in the “digital era”, as I often find myself carrying my digital camera, iPod, cell phone and sometimes my Clie.
The only thing I don’t like about the Purseket is the colour options. However, I do like the cranberry.
I was kind of disappointed with this test, mostly because I had never heard of Dooney & Bourke. So I looked it up on the internet only to find out that the spelling that these people from zenhex.com use is wrong. It’s Dooney & Bourke, thank god for google. Anyways I decided to check out their website to find out if I truly am a Dooney & Bourke girl.
Signature Giant Sac
There is nothing like a giant bag to carry all your crap. I’m not quite sure what colour I would like, but I’m leaning towards the Sand/Red combo. The Giant Sac not big enough? Well they have the extra large version too!
This bag is really cute. I would love it in the Marine as pictured or in green. Oh hell, the orange would be fantastic also.
I love the shape of this bag and of course tons of colours to choose from. I really, really like this yellow one.
Medium Bucket Bag
One in camel please!
Suede Large Ring Hobo
I love the way these large hobo bags look hanging under an arm. I also love big bags because I always end up carrying a lot of stuff. Any bag you can carry your lunch in is a good thing.
Wide Crescent with Gusset
Beautiful in brown.
And finally the Medium O-Ring Slouch Bag. I can’t snag a picture of this bag, but the website has an appropriate use of flash for the description of the bag. You can zoom in on the bag’s details to get a better look. Beautiful bag too, I like it in orange.
Well, I guess this does make me a Dooney & Bourke girl!
