i want: Church’s Spring 2010 Shoes
I fell in love with red Church’s brouges in the summer. The Spring 2010 offerings are fun too. I can’t help but think The Great Gatsby and wide leg pants when I see these. images: Highsnobette.com

I would love to be able to rock this YSL dress and Tribute combo.
Jean Paul Gaultier x Melissa This shoe is putting me over the Melissa edge, I was tottering on it with Zaha Hadid collaboration. I wonder what it feels like on. Jean Paul Gaultier was one of the first designers to ever collaborate with Melissa back in 1982. Since then, the Brazilian brand of plastic shoes has worked with the likes of Mugler, Patrick Cox, Karim Rashid, Alexandre Herchcovitch, the Campana Brothers, and more recently Vivienne Westwood ,and Zaha Hadid. I love the minimalistic nature of these Terence Koh for Converse 1HUND(RED) Artists Chuck Taylor All Stars. Unfortunately, these are for the guys. Not in my size. Boo. I’m a 5.5 Converse! Enlisted as a contributor to the 1HUND(RED) project, Koh’s approach to the design of his shoe focused on subtraction. “I wanted to keep the DNA of the Chuck Taylor intact, while reducing the seams, and smoothing out the shoe’s surfaces as much as possible”. Terence replaced the usual curve of the ankle with a vertical construction to give the shoe a clean square look. A smoothed-out version of the signature Converse tread on the sole combines with a white on white All Star rubber license plate on the heel to round out the ultra-clean look and feel of the shoe. As a contributor to 1HUND(RED), a percentage of the net wholesale price of the shoe will go to help fight AIDS in Africa, giving consumers an opportunity to become agents of change and offering a way to turn design into power. The Terence …
Rupert Sanderson Fall 2009 Shoes I usually don’t like suede bootie but Rupert can pull it off. Purple shoes are always fun. I’m most excited by the blue shoes. EDIT: (Nov 14, 2009) Shoe 1 and 3 can be found at Plum Boutique in Yorkville. images: rupertsanderson.co.uk
I’m always sad when the really cold weather happens because I have to put away my Chucks. It was just too cold to wear them. That’s changed this season because there are now Converse Chuck Taylor Boots. I like the plaid and leather versions. They cost $140. The one below is nylon and it’s $120. They are available at NEON, Get Outside and Little Burgundy in Toronto. You can find the leather and nylon versions in stores now, but the Woolrich Plaid will be available after November 30, 2009. http://www.neonclothing.ca
I’ve found some detail shots of the Balenciaga Spring 2010 Ready to Wear collection. The shoes are quite interesting. The fabric treatment reminds me of a woven rug. They don’t look comfortable at all. That band (in black, white or matching fabric) looks like it would be very painful after a few hours. Not sure I’m a fan. I would say I like the tall black and white pair and the short pair pictured above. images: eastnews.ru
On Day 2 of LG Fashion Week I wore Fashion Crimes. It’s been a lot of near misses but I finally got myself outfitted for a night at Fashion Crimes. I had a great time with Coco choosing an outfit and jewellery in the store. Mi Concept Jacket; Dress by Pam Chorley; Earrings, ring and necklace, Fashion Crimes. I want to thank Miss Sly for the photo. She mentioned me in a post about LG Fashion Week.
I’ve looked at a lot of thigh high boots and I have to say these Azzedine Alaia ones are perfect. I’ve been weary of the stiletto heel with point toe style of thigh highs but they seem to dominate the choices. This Alaia boot has none of those things. It’s a practical pair of thigh highs without the crazy heel and platform. image: BrownsFashion.com
I love these Japanese Converse coming out this month. Japan gets the coolest sneakers. via Hypebeast images: hypebeast.com
