This campaign image for M∙A∙C x Antonio Lopez collection is just breath taking. 70s supermodels Marisa Berenson, Jerry Hall and Pat Cleveland aka Antonio’s Girls look absolutely incredible here. Antonio Lopez is one of the great fashion illustrators and M∙A∙C has created a collection based on his work and muses. I’m absolutely in love with the packaging. I love all the personalities the model, Edie Campbell takes on for the Lanvin Fall – Winter 2013 -2014 Ad Campaign I love the print campaign. The photos are so rich and each look is a real transformation. I’m not a big fan of the ad campaign video for some reason. I find the campaign works better without the talking and I find the men more interesting than Edie for some reason. This is my favourite image and favourite dress of ones featured. The Fall Winter 2013 – 2014 ad campaigns are starting to come out and so far Miu Miu is my favourite. There are some really striking images in the campaign. The love the way the colours seem so saturated and leap off the page. Evoking a spirit of adventure and daring, the Fall/Winter 2013 campaign captures the passage of girls in a twilight cinema-scape loaded with intrigue, imagination and femininity. Set at the end of a seaside pier, their stories unfurl against a mysterious cityscape and vanishing horizon, brought to life in an up-tempo quirky dance video where the models move harmoniously with the rhythm and mood of the music. While standing on the dock of the bay waiting for a ferry, they dance away the fun of the night before returning home in the early morning. I haven’t watched any fashion reality television in years. When I heard that one of my fashion heroes Naomi Campbell would be hosting The FACE, I lost my shit. This would be everything that ANTM wasn’t. “The Face,†hosted by photographer Nigel Barker, features supermodel coaches Naomi Campbell, Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha as they compete to find the face of ULTA Beauty, one of the fastest growing beauty retailers in the United States. The series will give viewers access inside the world of the industry as three teams of aspiring models, each led by one of the supermodel coaches, are guided through real life assignments, including photo shoots and commercials. The show is brilliant and let’s be serious, it’s great to be able to stare at Nigel again. It’s way more serious than ANTM and Naomi tells it like it is. I’m loving the Givenchy Spring Summer 2013 ad campaign. Kate, Mariacarla and Marina in one campaign, OMG. My favourite model Mariacarla Boscono is back with her baby in tow and looking amazing. Looking better than ever. Performance artist, Marina Abramovic, whose movie The Artist is Present is an absolute must see, is looking so incredible. I love this woman. I’m not the biggest fan of the Lanvin Spring Summer 2013 Ad Campaign. The models don’t do much for me. I will admit that it’s pretty slick looking and if the models were different I’d probably be very excited.
