Wallpaper.com did there seasonal post about fashion show venues. I always like seeing the photos of the venues before the people, models, photographers and clothing arrive. The Moncler venue is stunning. The models walked on the deck of the pool. I love the graffiti in venue, it was quite the contrast to the John Galliano Sprign 2010 collection. images: Wallpaper.com.
The Prada Fall 2009 – 2010 Lookbook is awesome. They are always a little twisted and wacky. I’m even digging the collection now. I initially wasn’t a fan.
I wasn’t a fan of the Fall 2009 – 2010 collection. It wasn’t for me with the waders and boxy cuts. For Resort, it’s a much softer Prada. Miuccia showed a collection influenced by the beach. It was a much simpler collection, relying more on colour combination and prints for the wow factor. The shoes look walkable, also in contrast to the disaster that was Spring Summer 2009. I mused about the Fall Winter 2008 – 2009 ad campaign for Prada in a post called “Linda and Prada, hmm”. The results are out and it’s not pretty. click for larger images. The blue shoes in picture number 3 are stunning! The shoe shots are amazing though. See the all the images here.
So I decided to knockoff Prada Fall 2007 style thanks to Nine West and American Apparel. It’s finally getting to be warm enough. Once I actually bust it out for something, I’ll take a picture.
