Grand Opening - The Fashion District

The Fashion District is the most exciting new shop to hit the Queen West Village. This designer run indie boutique features eclectic fashions from Goth, Vintage inspired, Afrocentric street wear, Romantic to Couture. Focus is on limited runs and one of a kind fashions. Featured clothing labels include Desperately Different, Karamea, Embody,S.I.N.S.,Molina, Chinedesign, Devise. The Fashion District also carries an exclusive line of jewellery by Samantha Nemirof, and a unique collection of wall art and home décor by SerryPetrie and GH interiors.

Come meet some of our talented Canadian Designers and Artisans at our Grand opening on Saturday, May 3, 2008. Store hours: 11-7 pm.Fashion show at 5 p.m., followed by a cocktail party 7p.m. to midnight!

I have a coat fetish, big time. I have a double closet dedicated to them. Most of them are vintage, a few are military. There is also my prized possession, Anita. The Bell coat (pictured above) is made from a woolen army blanket.
