Hunter Boots in Toronto

Well, well, everyone wants Hunter boots now. Even my friend MJ jumped on the bandwagon which totally surprised me. You should see the looks we get when he’s wearing his black ones and I’m wearing my blue ones. We look like a crazy couple that dresses alike, thought MJ is the better dressed one.

Just to let the guys know, Hunter’s are a unisex boot. So if anyone tells you they are a girl’s boot, they are completely wrong. Make sure you let them know that the Duke of Wellington is rolling in his grave at the suggestion.

So here is an updated list for where to buy Hunter boots aka Wellys in Toronto

Get Outside – They carry a range of colours. I really want a yellow pair.

Heel Boy – Carrys Hunters in a variety of colours. The website is annoying – content not music people. It looks half finished. That being said, it’s a great store for shoes.

The Bay apparently is carrying them also.

If you’ve seen Hunters around, please leave a comment.

  1. aldo liquidation downtown $79.99 + extra 50% off = $40
might be all sold out but they have yellow and pink.

however, i think they restricted their extra 50% off to only ‘aldo’ shoes from what i heard.

  2. I think you can find these boots cheaper at other stores on Queen Street. They should be around $125 and I’ve seen them at capezio and holt renfrew as well.

  3. My 11 year old son LOVES Hunter wellington boots. He is at the age when ordinary rubber rain boots are not ‘cool’, but he thinks Hunters are. He wanted a pair in black, so I got him some. He takes a size 6, but unfortunately, the Canadian distributor for Hunter only carries the Young Hunter children’s sizes up to size 2. He tried on an adult size 6 and they were too tall for him. After searching the Internet, I found a Hunter distributor in the UK at this web site: and they were kid enough to ship me a Young Hunter size 6 in black for my son at a reasonable price and a low shipping cost. These boots come with two reflective strips on the back and a drawstring carrying bag. He just adores them and wants to wear them all the time. He insists on taking them to summer camp and wearing them to school on rainy days. I am delighted with this attitude. Thank you Hunter for making wellies ‘cool’! Hunter boots are just as much for boys as they are for girls and now my son’s friends are interested in getting them. They think the reflective strips are cool. I am sure that Hunters will catch on with the boys and men in due course. I just wish the Canadian distributor would see that they should carry the Young Hunter children’s boots in sizes 3 to 6. Maybe they will some day, but in the meantine, that British web site is willing to help. I have a pair of black Hunters myself and they are great!

  4. I just bought a pair on ebay for a fraction of what they sell them for in stores in Toronto. They are seconds, with a slight defect on the rubber, but barely noticeable, and with shipping and exchange were about $85, compared to $150 plus tax here.

    1. Did you get your boots on ebay through the US or the Uk?? I would love to go this route to save some cash!

  5. I just bought a pair at Winners for $80.. they had them in silver and in white. Awesome deal! Love my new boots 🙂

  6. I bought the white ones at Winner’s too, amazing deal $75 tax included, but sizes are limited.
