Y-3 Ready to Wear - Fall 2009 - 2010

Yohji Yamamoto’s Y-3 Ready to Wear – Fall 2009 – 2010 collection was the perfect streetwear collection for me. No one does pants like Yohji.

  1. This collection was completely safe and wearable – both men’s and women’s. I think that the global economic recession impacted this collection as I feel that there weren’t any risky pieces…

  2. I totally agree with you. I find it interesting that on one hand everyone else is experiementing with horrible metallic fabrics making totally unwearable clothing, but Yohji goes in the wearable direction.

  3. with the recession, people are going to spend their money wisely on practical pieces and not on short-term trends. sticking to basics is definitely the way to go.
