I was reading nitrolicious and she posted the shoes from the Omelle Fall 2009 collection. There were some interesting choices and fur was predominate. I fell in love with these are first sight. They are one of the shoes that you look at puzzled at first but they suck you into their randomness. I haven’t seen a shoe with this type of detailing yet. I have a feeling they look fantastic on. These booties are very cool too. They look like felt to me, which would be an interesting development. I’m still looking for my over the knee boots, these would make a good option Yup, no fur in my choices. They weren’t completely hideous, but definitely not my style. Necklush.com I was browsing through Etsy one day and discovered the Necklush. It’s part scarf and part chunky necklace. I needed to have one. So, I put in my order. I also found them on twitter and told them I was excited to receive my Necklush. They told me that each one is made to order and that I should expect it soon. I kinda wish I bought a thicker stranded Necklush. I would suggest that anyone who is interested in buying one to get the thicker versions. The colour schemes are varied enough to suit everyone’s taste whether it’s a neutral or a bright colour. I had a very, very hard time deciding which one to choose. So hard, that I’m already scoping out my next purchase. Perhaps the Supreme Necklush :). The Necklush can be worn in a number of ways and they even produced a video for customers. Necklush is made from cut cotton loops. We screenprint the designs ourselves, making the multicolored ones very limited. Necklush can be worn as a …
At the Innovators’ Ball I managed to get a gift box of Never Say Never thongs by Cosabella from one of the dancers. The gift box had 4 different coloured thongs in it. I was very pleased with myself and all I had to do was dance for them. Prior to this stroke of luck, I bought 2 pairs of Cosabelle Soire Lowrider Thongs. I heard things about them being amazing and that people swear by them, yadda, yadda. The Soire’s were okay. I wasn’t raving about them and I wasn’t blown away either. However, the Never Say Never thongs are the most comfortable thong I’ve ever worn. I love it when you forget your are wearing a piece of clothing. That is how these thongs felt. I’m impressed with the quality of the material and stitching. The range of colours are a treat too. They are a little pricier than most but I’ve found they hold up excellent after a trip through the washer and dryer. image: takemorephotos.com

Hi dear readers. Sorry about the lack of posts this week. I had a harddrive failure and some Internet connectivity issues over the last 3 days and just haven’t caught up. New posts tomorrow. Thanks for your patience.
SpinTO was a hell of a party. It a lot of fun hanging out with friends, drinking and dancing. The night also raised $15,000 for Toronto People with AIDS Foundation. Hurrah! Here is my little wrap up post with photos care of Rannie Turingan and Say Yeah. First off my SpinTO outfit. It was a pain in the ass to figure it out. At first I had the idea of gold, going with the Solid Gold theme. I had some items from American Apparel all picked out thanks to The Oracle, but decided against it. American Apparel gold lame really makes me ill. I needed something else. I didn’t have time to vintage shop and my choices for a good gold costume were dwindling. I finally talked to my friend Jaime Woo and he said he was going in a speedo. It snapped, the inspiration: I’m gonna wear a swimsuit. There were a bunch of incarnations of the swimsuit based outfit: the swimsuit and booty short combo; swimsuit and sarong combo; the swimsuit alone. The …
I love the image on the landing page for Jeremy Laing website. It doesn’t look as impressive in this image so I suggest you click on the Jeremy Laing link to get a look at it in its glory. I just wanted to mention the image because it was so striking, but this is an i want post and the object of my affection is Jeremy Laing’s Fall 2009 – 2010 collection. I love it when Jeremy posts the collection on his site. You get photos from another angle and get to see some the details that you’d miss otherwise. There is a lot of beautiful details in this collection. Doesn’t this just scream wear me. The gloves, the little swish of the skirt, the freaking collar. I want! This is the “I’m so way hotter than you dress there is flames coming off me” dress. I love it, perfect for getting attention. images: jeremylaing.com
Yes, you read that heading right. I do have a dress named after me. Joy!!!!!! I was super honoured to find out, as I had no idea this was coming. Up until a few weeks ago, I didn’t even know what the dress looked like. People were asking me about it and all I could say is that it’s Greta Constantine, it will be amazing. So, I get a nice email in my inbox with the Greta Constantine Jersey Dress Lookbook. There is also a little note letting me that the Anita is part of the group. I present to you, dear reader, the Anita by Greta Constantine. It’s part of the Fall 2009 – 2010 collection. It’s beautiful, it’s red, it’s totally me! Just that much closer to muse status. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart Kirk and Stephen.
