What fashion koolaid was Anita drinking in 2009

There are some trends I got behind this year that aren’t for everyone. I’ve drunk the fashion koolaid if you will on some trends. Here are the ones that made it into my closet.

I love the strong shoulder and thigh high boot trend, but it was somethings that I never made it to my closet.

  1. I like your koolaid tag, it’s so funny and somehow makes total sense.

The only trend I can’t seem to grasp is the dropped crotch and the harem pant (I’m not sure if I know the difference either) – is it a comfort thing? I just don’t get it. (But it also took me a while to catch the skinny jean train, so maybe with time, I’ll be wearing the heck out harem pants?)

  2. you do the trends well! you do a great job of integrating your personal style without making it seem too “trendy” in a bad way. I never roll my eyes or want to puke (and trust, many a girl i saw rocking liquid leggings had me wanting to puke).

    great post!

  3. “not for everyone” is right!
You made a list of things I really shouldn’t wear because I’m the wrong shape.
They look good on you though.
