C02 Buckle Boots by Chloë Sevigny for Opening Ceremony

i want: C02 Buckle Boots by Chloë Sevigny for Opening Ceremony

The C02 Buckle Boots  by Chloë Sevigny for Opening Ceremony are what prompted my Potion Ankle Boots by Jeffrey Campbell purchase.  The Potion’s were the inspired versions of the Chloë Sevigny for Opening Ceremony original.  While I love my Potion’s they really aren’t a complete substitute for the real C02 Boot.  I’d still like to get my hands on these, perhaps in a different colour.  I remember seeing a burgundy version at one point. I drool over the hardware details, those buckles are beautiful. You can find the C02 Buckle Boots by Chloë Sevigny for Opening Ceremony online at Opening Ceremony. I haven’t seen or heard of any retailers stocking them in Toronto.  I would love to see these shoes up close. images: openingceremony.us

i want: Spring 2010 Danier Leather Jackets

Danier keeps stepping it up. They’ve created a more fashion forward lineup of jackets which really surprised and pleased me. I spent many years walking into The Path location wanting to buy a leather jacket and not seeing anything I would wear. Finally with Fall 2009, I filled my wardrobe with some leather staples from Danier. I love my classic black motorcycle jacket and leather leggings. Fall was very dark and Spring 2010 at Danier is the opposite, full of colour. I’m craving the blue and the yellow leather jackets from Danier.  A great addition now that I have the standard black; it’s time to play around a bit. Fall merchandise is being cleared out of Danier stores right now.  Expect to see the Spring 2010 items in the store by the end of the month. images: courtesy of Danier Leather

Pose lace-up ankle boots by Acne

i want: Pose lace-up ankle boots by Acne

Pose lace-up ankle boots by Acne They say these are boots.  I’m not sure how to describe them but they seem like a summer shoe to me.  I love all the laces and the fact that you have to be committed to lacing them up to own them, similar to Doc Martens.  It doesn’t look like there is easy zipper access on these. These are available at shop.acnestudios.com and net-a-porter.com images: net-a-porter.com

i want: Alexander Wang Cat Eye Sunglasses

This photo by Tommy Ton made me change my mind about the Alexander Wang cat eye sunglasses. They looks so fun. Alexander Wang created these sunglasses in collaboration with Linda Farrow. Linda has done other collaborations with Raf Simons, Dries Van Noten and The Row to name a few. UPDATE (April 11, 2010): You can grab a pair of these sunglasses at Holt Renfrew Bloor Street images: oaknyc.com, style.com

Theda by Anita Quansah, exclusively for Shrimpton Couture

i want: Jewellery by Anita Quansah, exclusively for Shrimpton Couture

Trolling Shrimption Couture is always fun. I have been hearing about Anita Quansah’s jewellery for the last week so I had to check it out. She also shares my name and I’m totally curious. Rasia by Anita Quansah This silver tone multi chain neckpiece features vintage faux pearl mixed with silver and gunmetal chains. An oval metal tone faceted bead and clear facet stone charm have been wrapped around rows of a cascading ring design. Four large purple floral embellishment and 2 silk handmade corsage where then added, all held in place with 2 silver tone pin’s from a vintage kilt! As you can see Anita’s jewellery is very ornate and large. They are an uber statement piece so you’d need to wear simple silhouettes and neutral colours with these. They look like fun. Hera by Anita Quansah Hera is a spectacular creation that features cascading gun metal chains mixed with rhinestones and grey, black & gold faceted beads, all arranged in a mesh design, that drapes loosely like a collar around the neck. i want: Louis Vuitton Spring 2010 Accessories

Something is very wrong with me, I like some of the handbag offering from Louis Vuitton this season. I’m usually someone that only likes the Damier Azur canvas. I don’t know, maybe it was the music from the Spring 2010 show or the colours, but some of these bags are looking good. Forget about the price for a moment as they are astronomical and just look at the fun design. I think it’s the colour schemes that gets me. The colours are vibrant and well matched. images: nitrolicious.com
